Olivia had found out 6 months after giana had run away where she was. She wanted so much to bring her back but knew she would just run again so olivia did her best to try and keep an eye on her.

The day of the rally olivia was recieveing an award for her work in helping with sexual assault and DV. Giana had left her a message afew days before saying she'd be there to see her but as olivia took the award and scanned the audience she didn't see her daughter anywhere. When she got back to the squad room she knew why as she seen a replay of the rally and seen her beautiful daughter standing between Carlos and Darius benetti. She could tell the smile on her daughters face was not real and she knew that family was using Gia to promote thier campaign in the me too movement all because she was her daughter.

"At least we know she's alive" Nick said.

Olivia sighed but nodded "yeah I guess. She just looks so defeated." Olivia said.

"She'll come around liv" fin said touching her shoulder.

"I don't know fin she's stubborn, an unfortunate trait she inherited from me." Olivia admitted. Once the rally was over she turned off the TV and went to her desk to finish some dd5s that were late.

She worked through the night and then the captain came out and said "go home olivia get some rest."

"Yeah soon captain I just want to finish these and there is nothing at home for me." She sighed.

"What about elliot?" He asked.

"He's undercover for a while not sure when I'll see him again" she admitted.

Don sighed "please don't stay too much later ok?"

She nodded "night captain" she watched him leave and then she went to the coffee pot and got herself a cup before sitting back down and looking at a picture of her and Gia sitting on her desk. Gia was 5 in the picture and they had been at central park for her birthday when the photo was taken. She missed her daughter so much and she hated william even more than before because he had caused all of this.
