Naomi and Erza were looking at the beach with proud expressions on their face as they managed to complete their first mission and it felt good.
Can you believe we actually did it?" Erza exclaimed, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her eyes sparkled with excitement, reflecting the vibrant hues of the sunset.
Naomi nodded, a proud smile spreading across her face. "We worked together perfectly! Just like I knew we would."
With their mission accomplished, they made their way back to the resort, the sound of their footsteps mingling with the soft whispers of the ocean breeze. As they approached the lobby, Director Lyle was already waiting for them, his face brightening at the sight of the duo.
Naomi! Erza! You're back!" he exclaimed, his voice warm with relief and appreciation. "You two have done an incredible job handling the threat of those crabs. The resort is safe, thanks to you!"
They exchanged humble smiles, their work already feeling rewarding in its own right. But Director Lyle wasn't finished. "As a token of our gratitude, I'm pleased to present you with a reward of 50,000 Jewels!"
He handed a pouch filled with glittering jewels to Naomi, who felt her heart race as she opened the bag to reveal the treasures inside. "Thank you so much, Director!" she said, a mix of elation and disbelief washing over her.
Erza's eyes widened as she caught a glimpse of the shining jewels.
Wow, I didn't expect this at all!" They both knew that the money would go a long way, but their eyes lit up even more when Lyle continued speaking.
As a further token of our appreciation, I would like to offer both of you VIP passes to Magnolia Beach Resort. From this day forward, you can visit anytime, free of charge!" Lyle announced, a proud smile on his face.
Erza's jaw dropped, and she couldn't help but let out a squeal of delight.
Onee-san! We get to come here anytime we want!" Erza said as her enthusiasm was infectious, causing Naomi to break into a wide grin.
Absolutely! I mean, this place is amazing," Naomi replied, her own excitement bubbling beneath the surface. She reached into the pouch and, after a moment's thought, pulled out a significant portion of the jewels.
Here, Erza. Take 40,000 Jewels," Naomi said, handing the pouch to her. "You deserve it for being such an incredible partner during the fight."
Erza's eyes sparkled like the gems in the pouch. "But, Naomi—"
No buts! You fought like a true warrior, and I'd want nothing less than to see you succeed," Naomi insisted, her voice firm yet encouraging.
Touched by the gesture, Erza felt a warmth spread through her chest. "Thank you, Onee-san. I'll make sure to use this wisely."
Naomi then grew serious, gazing at Erza with encouraging intensity. "And don't forget to keep practicing with that sword of yours. Master it, and you'll become even more efficient in battle. I believe in you."
Erza nodded, determination shining in her eyes. "Okay, Onee-san. I promise I will!"
As the sun continued to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, the two friends made their way back to their home, ready to share the vibrant stories of their day and the treasures they gained. Their hearts were light with joy, and in that moment, nothing else mattered but the bond that they shared and the adventures yet to come.
Their victory over the giant crabs was just the beginning, and they looked forward to many more escapades together, returning to Maggie Beach whenever they pleased, knowing that they would always have each other's backs.
