Jake's POV

The cockpit hummed with tension as I monitored the feeds from the F-35B strike. The airstrike had been a success—explosions had rocked the northern perimeter of the facility, sending plumes of smoke into the sky. The pilots' voices crackled through the comms, relaying the status of the operation.

"Jake, this is Alpha Two. Airstrike successful. Target areas are neutralized. Ground forces are in disarray."

A surge of adrenaline coursed through me at the report. "Copy that, Alpha Two. You've cleared the path. Prepare for SEAL team insertion. Green light for all units to proceed."

"Affirmative, Jake. We're covering you from above."

I switched frequencies, my voice steady and commanding. "All SEAL teams, this is Jake. Infiltration phase is a go. Execute your maneuvers as planned. Maintain stealth and engage only if necessary. Our objective is to extract the hostages and gather intel. Remember, we're here to take them by surprise."

I could hear the gruff voices of the SEALs responding, their unwavering confidence instilling a sense of calm in the chaos. "Roger that, Jake. We're on the move."

As I watched the live feeds, I could see the helicopters descending toward the facility, blades whipping through the air, cutting through the remnants of smoke from the strike. The SEALs deployed from the Sea Hawk helicopters, slipping into the shadows like phantoms, each member a trained warrior, poised for action.

"Let's move quickly, people," I said, my tone resolute. "Intel shows minimal guard presence now, but they'll regroup. Stay sharp, watch your six."

I could feel the weight of responsibility heavy on my shoulders. Lives depended on our success today, and I was determined not to let them down. I leaned closer to the monitors, my heart pounding as the SEALs approached the facility, my eyes scanning for any signs of movement.

"Ghost Team, report status," I ordered, my pulse quickening.

"Ghost Team is at the north entrance. No hostiles in sight," came the reply.

"Copy that. Move in and secure the area. We need to gather intel on the layout and locate the hostages. Stay alert; don't underestimate the enemy."

Every second felt like an eternity as I watched them advance through the facility. The tension in the air was palpable, the stakes higher than ever. If anything went wrong, we had to be ready to adapt. I couldn't allow fear to creep in—this was our moment.

"Jake, this is Bravo Team. We're inside. Moving toward the facility. No sign of chase so far."

"Keep going," I replied, my heart racing. "Stay low and stick to the shadows. We need to get in and out without alerting the guards."

As they moved deeper into the facility, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were on the precipice of something monumental. This was our chance to turn the tide, to rescue Skye and the others, and to bring justice to those responsible for this nightmare.

"Let's do this," I whispered, tightening my grip on the controls. "For the hostages. For Skye."

Chase's POV

The thunderous echoes of the explosions faded, replaced by the whir of helicopters overhead. My heart raced as I realized the SEALs were finally here. This was the moment I'd been waiting for—the chance to take back Skye and end this nightmare. I knew I had to meet them before they executed the rescue.

With urgency fueling my every move, I bolted through the facility's dimly lit corridors, adrenaline surging through my veins. The sounds of chaos still reverberated around me, but I pushed forward, determined to reach the SEALs before they engaged. As I rounded a corner, I suddenly found myself face-to-face with a squad of well-armed soldiers.
