It was a lively Friday night and Seline. Along with her friends, made their way to the bustling bar that Gap had mentioned.

The place was packed with people enjoying the night, the air filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and vibrant music that pulsated through the room.

Thankfully, Gap had reserved a table for them in advance, and it turned out that the manager knew Gap from a few meetings with him. Gap had been in touch with management to make arrangements for their evening.

After being seated, they ordered their drinks, and Jaja immediately began surveying the area, scanning for potential new acquaintances with her mischievous grin.

"They have such a good vibe here, don't they? It's like everyone's having the time of their life!" Jaja remarked, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she took a sip from her glass. Gap nodded in agreement.

Moments later, a waiter approached their table, carrying a tray of food and drinks.

"Excuse me, these are complimentary, on the house." the waiter said with a smile, gesturing to the manager behind the bar, who offered a friendly wave.

"Thank you!" Seline and Jaja chimed in unison bowing their heads slightly in gratitude.

"No problem at all. If you need anything else, just let us know." he replied before heading back to the bar.

Seline glanced around the room, noticing that most of the crowd seemed younger, likely university students or young professionals looking to unwind and make new connections.

Even amidst the vibrant energy of the place, her mind drifted to work, always contemplating ways to improve sales "I think the only issue here is on the weekdays." she murmured softly, making mental notes.

But her thoughts were interrupted when she realized Jaja had already disappeared. Turning to Gap, she raised an eyebrow.

"She found her target already," Gap chuckled, pointing toward the dance floor, where Jaja was swaying alongside a girl with short hair and a daringly chic outfit.

"She's always like that, always out to meet someone new" Seline sighed with a smile. "Why don't you go out there too? You might meet someone." Gap teased, causing Seline to roll her eyes playfully.

"I'm fine here, thank you." she said before excusing herself. "I'm just going to the restroom."

The restroom was surprisingly spotless, unlike the less refined bars she'd been to before.

After freshening up, Seline stepped back out and glanced over the crowd again. As her gaze swept across the dance floor, she froze.

There, amidst the crowd of dancers, was a familiar figure moving rhythmically between two other women.

Something stirred inside Seline, a pang she couldn't quite place.

Seline returned to the table, eyes still fixed on the figure she couldn't take her eyes off. Gap handed her another drink, and she downed it in one go.

"Whoa, slow down! Sip it, don't gulp it!" Gap warned, his brow furrowed in concern.

But Seline didn't seem to hear him. She ordered another drink, straight tequila this time, and Gap's eyes widened.

"Are you trying to get drunk?" he asked, but she simply drained the glass and stood up.

"Where are you going?" he called after her, but she didn't respond. Her focus was solely on the person she'd been staring at all night.
