It was a bright Monday morning when Seline strolled into the office, her mood as light as the sunshine spilling through the windows.
She greeted everyone with a smile so radiant that Nene, watching from her desk, did a double take.
"I think something's wrong with Seline. She looks too happy like, glowing," Nene whispered to Jaja, who immediately looked up from her computer.
Jaja's eyes widened in agreement as she stood, determined to get to the bottom of it. Marching over to Seline's desk, she leaned in with a smirk.
"Well, well, someone's glowing this morning. You look tired, but it's the good kind of tired, like a flower that just got watered by the gardener," Jaja teased, her voice dripping with mischief.
Seline shot her a side-eye, but before she could respond, Gap approached her desk, handing over a stack of files.
"Here are the documents for today's meeting. We'll be discussing the new clients the bar and the manufacturing company," Gap said.
Seline glanced at the files, noticing a young man listed as the manufacturing company's representative. "We've already done surveillance with their team, so we can offer solid solutions. Let's prepare to present our findings," Seline stated firmly, already sliding into work mode.
As the team gathered in the conference room, they organized the files. Nene handed out the materials Gap had prepared, and soon after, the owners of the bar arrived.
Gap stood up to greet them, gesturing towards the two women beside him.
"Gap, I'd like you to meet Ying and Prigkhing, the owners. This is Gap, the contact you've been speaking with," Pentaii introduced.
Seline and Jaja both bowed respectfully and shook hands with the owners. Seline was about to begin the meeting when the door suddenly opened.
A woman entered, holding a sleek tablet, followed by another woman who immediately caught Seline's eye. Her heart stopped for a moment, her words dying in her throat as she stared at the familiar face.
