𐙚˙⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩" I will say, this is pretty fitting for a girl like you Maison. Although I took you for more of a dog person, you know?" Margaret brushes her fingers over the ginger cats forehead. Creamcheese sulks on the table next to us, his tail swinging back and forth agressively. Peaches purrs in Margarets arms.
Poor Creamcheese, you'll get all the attention again soon enough.
She swings Peaches back and forth, cradling him like a baby, as she whispers sweet nothings in his little ears. He playfully paws at her face. Margaret's apron is now covered in orange hair.
"How old is he?" She questions. I pop another donut hole into my mouth.
"He's almost two. His birthdays on Valentine's day actually."
She grins at that info.
"Well I'm glad you have a familiar companion to keep you company while you get settled." She hesitates for a moment before a cheeky grin makes its way onto her face. "Although I highly doubt you'll need it... with those two beautifull meat heads you're living with."
She giggles and nuzzles her face into my cat once more, as I feel the blush creep up my neck and into my cheeks at the mention of my roommates.
It's been two days since the encounter and I have yet to even see the boys. Larson is usually always home when I get up, since he works such late nights, but recently its been too quiet in the house. River is always gone, but he hasn't been coming home until I've already gone to bed, and even if I'm awake, he manages to sneak around me.
They spank ME, and now I'm the one being ignored?
"Trust me Margaret. There's nothing there. They haven't even been in the house, and if they have, they've found a way to act like I dont exist."
She frowns at my confession.
"Even River? I thought he was the nice one."
"Yeah. Me too." I sigh and shove another two donuts into my mouth, the sugary coating almost making me choke. If I eat my feelings away, I wont have to face them. Or feel them.
