𐙚˙⋆.˚ ᡣ𐭩I stare at the tight material covering my waist and chest, it trailing down my fresh shaven legs. It sucks my waist in, cups my boobs perfectly, and is just long enough to wear as it lightly touches the floor underneath my feet.
I grab my comb and brush through my long brown hair one more time, smoothing the stray hairs atop my head.
I cant do this. Just say you're sick Maison.
I sigh and continue to stare at my appearance in the mirror before me. My eyes are a dead giveaway to how I really feel. My anxiety claws its way back up my throat, bringing the food in my tummy with it. I try and swallow it down, smoothing my dress over my hips.
Worry wiggles its way into my mind as I turn and look at the back of me. My hair covers most of the open back of the dress, and sits curled at the base of my spine.
The glitter hairspray I used shimmers in the dull bathroom lights, and subtly covers my shoulder and collar bones.
I look to my face once more. My makeup, a little bit heavier than usual for the event is already irritating my face, and the lipstick is lighter due to the multiple times I've pulled my lip into my mouth.
I seriously hope they have some alcohol here.
God knows I need it.
I grab my gold purse from the marble counter top before flicking off the light. If I stare at myself too much longer, I am actually going to curl up into a ball and hide underneath the covers. River can go alone.
My watch says its time to go, agreed that we meet in the living room at 6pm. It currently being 5:53 means its my cue to go. Ready on times, yes. Ready to go face a crowd of random strangers? No.
I huff and open my door, trying not to let my heels click the ground too loud, worried I might disturb the blonde haired monster in his bedroom. I'd rather not deal with him tonight.
