One fine day ma was sitting near AS as she handed him a wedding card that said HM weds Amar
Ma: dekh jeski wajah se tu shadi nahi karna chata hai woh shadi kar rahi hai aur tu hai ki! Ab tu bhi karle Anu shadi hume bhi toh humare pota poti ke chere dekne deh
Baba: haan Anu zindagi mein kisi ka toh sath zaruri hota hai. Waise bhi woh bachi kab tak akeli rahegi uske ma baba ke maut ke baad toh itne saal thi woh akele aur jisse woh ma manti thi usne uska aur uske chacha ka faida uta liya
Mama: sach kaha apne bhaiya bichari kitna kuch saha ab bhagwan kare uske zindagi mein sirf kushiya hi aye waise Anu tujhe bhi ab aghe badne ke bare mein sochna chahiye
AS fisting his hand as he felt his being burn: humne apna faisla bata diya ab hum chalte hai
MA: kaha? Aj toh chuti hai na teri
AS: mangalwar hai ma mandir ja rahe hai
Ma nods while AS left for the temple. He prayed silently to lord Shiva who had practically given up on the stubborn devotee of his. AS finished his prayers and turned around to find HM there dressed in a karela saree the white ones with a gold border looking like a divine goddess with her head covered with the pallu giving a peak of her hair that were flowing down with jasmine gajras enhancing her beauty. She had no make up on or any heavy jewellery besides what she wore every day and a tiny bindi yet she looked like the most beautiful woman to grace the earth. He was lost in her when she opened her eyes and smiled at him.
HM finishing up her prayers: jai hind sir app yaha
AS coming out of his trance: woh mangalwar hai na darshan ke liye aye the
HM: oh haan hum bhi budu hai
Facepalming herself causing her pallu to slip down
AS: woh apka pallu
Helping her adjust it
HM: shukriya
AS nods trying not to let his feelings affect his tone: suna hai app vivah kar rahi hai
AV coming to them: ji haan hum dono shadi kar rahe hai
HM: Sir inse miliye yeh hai SHO Amar Vidhrohi humare hone wale pati aur Amar yeh hai DSP AS humare dost aur senior
AV both professionally shaking hands: apke bare mein kon nahi janta sir
HM: aree dutt hum humari pooja ki thal andar bhul aye abhi athe hai app dono yahi rukiye
Running in while her anklets chimed
AV: mujhe toh apka thank you karna chahiye sir agar app nahi hote toh mujhe mera pyar nahi milta. 4 saal se janta hu aur pyar karta hu jitne bhi baar propose kiya unse mana kiya keh ke usko apna soulmate already mil chuka ahi aur woh sirf usi ki hai par jabse apne ushe mana kiya meri kismat chamki.
AS feeling a strange fire burn him from within: ek baat kahe dost ke nate, mat kijea inse shadi yeh stable nahi hai apne sath sath apki bhi zindagi barbad kar degi
AV: hum toh unke liye barbad hone ke liye bhi tayar hai but thanks for the advice
HM comes with the thal and gives them both prasad as they walked away in opposite directions saying their goodbyes. The word fuming would be an understatement for what AS was feeling right now as he fumbled through the door handle when he felt someone grab his hand angrily and drag him away. He didn't have to look up or resist as he knew the touch way too well. HM dragged to the room where they had last spent their happy moments together on her birthday the day before they were to get married.
