"Remember, we're not staying for long so don't get comfortable." I tell Reggie for the second time today as we get out of my car.
Unfortunately, Saturday arrived which meant Reggie and I were meeting up with our dad and his almost could be his daughter-girlfriend.
"Yeah, yeah, woah look at that! Gosh, this is so cool." Reggie excitedly rushes toward the dock, to get on the yacht.
There on the front of the yacht is a "Welcome Reggie & Annalise!" Sign as if we're being welcomed home, of course it's a bribery on behalf of our father.
I pray Reggie sees through this cool dad act and can see the same asshole I can very much see.
Music reaches my ears, I hear a whole chatter of people from the inside which is odd because I was told it would just be us 4 but you just can't ever trust these people.
I let out a deep annoyed breath before sliding on my sunglasses I brought so Reggie couldn't tell when I'd roll my eyes because I have a feeling I'll be doing that a lot.
I hadn't seen my dad in almost a year so I was prepared for whatever act he was going to throw my way and I had prepared myself mentally this morning to deal with him and his girlfriend.

"Giselle!" Reggie, being the polite boy he is, greets her and allows her to welcome him with a hug.
"You got so tall, look at you you're almost as tall as me." She chuckles and drops an arm over his shoulder before her eyes avert to me.
"Anna, jeez you just get more beautiful every time I see you. How've you been? You're dad and I have missed you guys." She says.
I used to feel bad for her when I met her the first time because she's young, not too ugly, skinny and I can admit she can be nice so what the hell does she see in a man twenty years older than her? I can guarantee her nothing is special about that man expect his wallet.
"Right. So what's this good news you've been feeding Reggie?" I cross my arms and look around the boat.
I catch the way Reggie throws me a look but Im trying enough just by being here.
