~Kawayan's POV~
"Hold on, you what?!" Yet another person I had to explain everything to. It was the least I can do since I barged into Alex's driver's room while he was almost naked. Nothing I haven't seen before, not Alex's, just another general guy's anatomy. "Please don't make me repeat it again; Logan is literally across the hall." I leaned back on his rolling chair, slouching a bit with both hands behind my bed. I wasn't exactly stressed, but Alex for sure was doing all the stressing out for me. "How are you not freaking out about this? Lando told you they were getting back together, and you still chose to kiss him." I just had to roll my eyes.
"Logan would kiss me even if I didn't know if they were still together. He would never tell me." I sighed deeply. It's weird to think about Logan when my main focus has been Lando this entire time. "Do you think of me as some kind of home wrecker? Alex, you wound me." I put a hand over my heart to show him how fake hurt I was. It was Alex's turn to roll his eyes, then he continued stuffing things into his backpack. "Yet you still let it happen. What do you think is going to happen if or when Riley finds out?" I put a hand up to stop him before he continues to go full on dad lecture on me. That's the last thing I needed. I already know that in these past few months, I haven't handled things the best.
I shook my head at the thought. Riley finding out would be the worst-case scenario. If Logan doesn't expose himself or me, we should be fine. "She's not going to find out, and I'm not letting Logan kiss me ever again or the other way around." The look on Alex's face was incredulity. I wouldn't believe me either after I let it happen so many times. My fingers run through my hair as I'm deep in thought. "Ok, fine, I trust you for now." There was a slight pause when Alex had to take some stuff out of his bag to play Tetris to make everything fit. "What are you going to do with the whole Lando thing?" He asks as I swivel myself back and forth on the chair.
I shrugged with my lips pursed. "On the note, it says he wants to apologize and explain himself if I allow him to." I had Alex scan the exact note Lando gave me, and he scans thoroughly. Can I just say I'm scared for his kids in the future because it's scary to see Alex all strict like this? Especially when it came to Logan. "I don't know; I think I'm done with guys for now. After what happened in today's Grand Prix, it would be best for me to focus on the season." I leaned back into the chair once again after Alex handed me back the note. "It's the best time too since I'm done with Lando and Logan has his girlfriend." Alex has this proud look on his face. He's so dad coded.
"That's a very mature answer for someone at your age." I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have started something that would be impossible to finish. I've come out to the entire world, and that should've been it for me. Maybe it wasn't meant to be for me to find true love as a Formula 1 driver. Maybe it should be someone who has nothing to do with Formula 1. If Charles, Alex, and Esteban can do it, I can too, but who knows what's going to happen? "Anyway, I'm forced to go to Tokyo for about five days. What about you, plans with Lily?" I had to mentally prepare myself before even asking that question. Asking anything about a relationship pains me. It just does.
