~Kawayan's POV~

"Do you want to say that louder? Because I don't think the whole fricken plane heard you." I got up out of my seat to see if Checo wanted to swap seats with me, who was actually sitting next to Logan. He was the calming presence I needed for my anger. Thankfully, Checo agreed since he didn't like his aisle seat. "Hey." Logan said simply as he took off his headphones. Now that I'm sitting next to him, I do feel bad about the way I did speak to him before. "Hey." I said back to him, then there was an awkward silence between us. Both of us trying to find the right words to say.

"I-" We both said it at the same time, and we did that a few more times, causing the both of us to laugh. That was a nice icebreaker. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for yelling at you in the hotel. Lando was pissing me off, and my anger was at an all-time high when you walked in on us." I groaned frustratedly at myself. When I yell at Logan, I feel bad because he didn't do anything wrong, but when I'm yelling at Lando, I think he needs a good scolding all the time. "Don't worry, I know what it's like to deal with Lando." I sat up in my chair, suddenly interested in that particular topic. I want to know someone else's opinion on Lando.

"Really?" Logan just nodded his head while looking down at his hands. "I rarely talk to Lando much; anyone on the grid, in fact, Oscar sometimes to, but last night, you're not the only who had a hard time with him." I don't know why my first thought was Logan receiving head from Lando. That would be extremely hot to see. I had to calm my dick down very discreetly in front of Logan. "I was struggling with some things after my win yesterday and made the mistake of venting my problems to Lando." Logan looks up at the ceiling as he's taking a deep breath. I thought someone would relish in their first ever victory. That's why I though he threw the party.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Most of the time I pull of this tough guy act who has to do everything myself and is a bit aggressive, but I do have a heart to share with people who deserve it. As you can tell, Lando isn't one of those people. He doesn't even deserve to see my real smile. "Nah, I think I should listen to Alex and try not to think about it. Thanks, though." That was the end of our conversation. Logan puts his headphones back on, staring out the window. I had to fight the urge to hold his hand. How can anyone not feel happy about their win? Logan was happy spraying Lando and I with that champagne bottle. What changed?

Once the plane comes to a complete stop on the runway, I immediately was the first one off. Flying is the absolute worst feeling. I can't believe I forgot to bring some melatonin for me to sleep easier during the flight. Instead, I embraced myself by clinging on to Lando's arm. Never again. "Hey, Kaway-in." Charles puts an arm around my shoulders as soon as we step down on the tarmac. I didn't have it in me to tell him he was so close because I would have to explain it to him again, and I'm too jet lagged for that. "Can I help you, Charles?" I said in a monotone voice. Charles had too much excitement after that brutal flight.
