Arthur turned to Sir Oliver with a grimly expression.

"From now on, not only the Imperial Palace, but also the entire capital will be locked down. From this hour on, anyone who escapes the capital will be searched for every rat. Send letters to our soldiers throughout the capital."

"I will obey you, sir."

"I will now pursue Tristan's whereabouts, and Sir Oliver is to keep an eye on those in the banquet hall, and send to jail without mercy any attempt to contact the outside world. Also, if you find out the whereabouts of Tristan, the Emperor, and the Duke of Alberton, contact me immediately."

"I see. ...... Please, be safe."

Greeted by Sir Oliver, Arthur turned his horse's head out of the banquet hall. Then he went straight for the Crown Prince's Palace.

Assuming they hadn't made it out of the palace yet, it was the only place they could most suspect to be headed. Arthur rode faster, relentlessly slashing through the Imperial Guards soldiers who stood in his way.

"Don't let a single guy pass into Your Highness's palace!"

"Don't let the remnants of the emperor and prince live! Keep advancing!"

"Cursed Duke Felix! Shoot your bow!"

Arthur rushed from the banquet hall to the Emperor's Palace, and immediately jumped into the midst of his knights and the Imperial Guard. Arthur swung his sword and parried every arrow that came his way, slicing through those who rushed at him, searching for Sir Tristan.

"Tristan!"

Eventually, Arthur found Sir Tristan, bloodied and confronting his knights on the path leading from the Womb to the Primeval Forest.

Arthur immediately leapt from his horse and swung his sword at him. Then, Sir Tristan parried his sword as it was directed at him.

Arthur asked, slamming his sword down on him.

"Where are the Emperor and the Duke of Alberton?"

"...... Do you think I'm going to answer that?"

At Arthur's question, Sir Tristan laughed, pulling up his bloodied lips and barely resisting Arthur's sword as it slashed at him.

Arthur let out a brief laugh at the sight of Sir Tristan trying his best to seal the entrance to the Primordial Forest, even though he was being pushed back by his own power. Then Sir Tristan shouted, hot.

"What's so funny!"

"No, I didn't think I needed to ask the Lord about their whereabouts."

"...... What?"

"Sadly, your allegiance has turned out to have given me their whereabouts."

Arthur replied, and struck Sir Tristan's sword with one ounce of force. Sir Tristan's sword, which had managed to block the attack, flew in a parabolic arc and slammed into the ground.

Sir Tristan quickly reached for the sword of another soldier who was scattered nearby, but his attempt was stopped by Arthur, who had plunged the sword into his hand.

"Uhhh

"If you want to save your life, don't talk nonsense anymore."

Afterwards, Arthur climbed back on, leaving behind Sir Tristan, who screamed horribly. Then he turned to his soldiers and knights who were holding him in captivity, as he lay bleeding on the ground.

"We are now besieging the Primordial Forest. Capture the Emperor and all of his remnants as soon as you find them, except that the Duke of Alberton may be shot if he resists. He is a wicked man who carelessly sacrifices even his own life for the sake of his own desires, and he does not know what he will do."
