Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. TAP.
"I swear Carson if you tap her one more time I will slap you."...
Tap.
Slap.
"Ow Shawn! What the heck?" A guy, I suppose Carson, screamed. Who are these guys? "I told you to let her sleep Car!" I opened my eyes with great effort, and looked around the blue green room. I saw my stuffed animals and the TV was playing Boy Meets World.
"She's alive!" A blonde hair boy screamed giddily jumping/walking to me. He crushed me in a bone crushing hug and I yelped/winced. Another blonde hair boy screamed obcenseities at the boy crushing me, before prying him off me.
"Are you okay?" He asked, worry filling his eyes. I shook my head no. That simple action made me want to drown myself with pain pills. "Do you want the nurse?" I shook my head. "Doctor?" I nodded yes. Nurses don't know how to do anything except make you feel weak.
I waited impatiently and looked to the guy I suppose was Carson; he was watching me like a hawk. I couldn't talk even if I wanted to or tried to. "Good afternoon Ms. Jamie. I'm Doctor Dreen. Dr. Macho is out at the moment.
"You are probably wondering why the heck you are in a hospital and are in so much pain. Well I'll tell you but, I think your pain meds are do soon." The Doctor left and then came back, giving me medicine and water.
"You were on the way to your destination when you were hit by a car very badly."
I nodded.
Shawn's POV
"Mr. Matthews, may I see you outside?"I nodded and walked outside. Dragging Carson with me.
"I'm not going to lie; she is very beat up. Due to the head trauma, she is going to have difficulty remembering things such as you and your friend here. Give her some time, show her she is loved and let her live how she remembers her life."
I nodded. The doctor put his hand on my shoulder as a sign of condolences, and I massaged my forehead. "Shawnie?" Carson whispered. I looked up at him. "Yes Car?" I asked him.
"Will she remember us?" I shrugged. "I don't know man, I just don't know yet."
We walked inside the hospital room, keeping that last part fresh in our minds. "Hi Jamie, you're probably wondering who we are and why that idiot just crushed you. I'm Shawn Hunter Matthews and I'm your best friend. I've known you since you were five." I waved to her, and she mustered a painful smile.
Carson smiled like there was no tomorrow, waving like he was having an arm spasm. "Hi! My names Carson Detroit! Well, Detroit is my middle name; my last name is Daniels. Shawn calls me Car, and so do you. I've known you since you were five as well. We actually met in th-." I slapped Car's arm and glared at him. Sending him a look that said "wayyyyyy to much information Car!"
"What happened?" Jamie asked, her mouth opening so miniscular, if you didn't know her, you wouldn't know she was opening her mouth.
"Um, let's have the doctor explain that to you. Doc!" I screamed for the doctor, he walked inside the room and looked at Jamie.
"Would you like to know how you got into this place?" Jamie nodded slightly. "Well, you were driving to your dance competition and you were struck by a car speeding at a speed of 59 on a 25 speed limit street. When he crashed into you, your car collided into the vidock. From impact, since you were hit in back, you flew out the windshield and head first to the vidock. You're lucky to be alive."
