We were finally able to leave the hospital after a long list of check ups. Shawn carried me to the car much to my dismay. He told me I wasn't allowed to walk so I wasn't going to. I just rolled my eyes. It was only Shawn and I in the car. Carson and the twins were at Shawn's house finishing making it wheel chair accessable. We were listening to Nick Jonas' new song Chains. "What happened to the Jonas Brothers? I mean they were huge when we were in high school."
Shawn just shrugged, "Kevin has a daughter now and she's about 1 years old? Anways, Nick is the only one that really plays music now. Joe is a somewhat of an actor and Kevin practically gave up his entire career. However, they did release a song together in like 2013 called Pom Poms." He looks over at me and I smile. "I'm guessing." He says. "HAHA! Shawn you always were a JB fan." He just shrugged. "You know Jonas Brothers will always be the first JB, forget Justin." I gasped. I loved Justin Bieber, I mean I'm not a fan of hearing everything everyone has told me but whatever.
We pulled into the house to see a homemade ramp, it didn't look too sturdy but YOLO. I opened the door and waited for Shawn to bring my wheelchair. He never did, in fact he carried me to the door. "Shawn, they gave me a wheelchair for a reason!" He just shrugged, "the ramp didn't look too sturdy enough." He said. I rolled my eyes and he settled me in on the couch. "No more carrying me you got it?" He nodded, and went into the car to get the wheelchair. "Only when you are leaving or entering the house!" He screamed back and I just laughed it off.
I didn't see Carson, but I did however see Nene (Carson's 8 year old niece) running at me. "Jamie! Help me!" She screamed, I opened my arms and she climbed into my lap. "What's wrong Irene?" She was breathing heavy so it must have been her brother chasing her. "Zekey was chasing me with a spider he found on the floor!" I shook my head. "Ezekial! Get over her right now!" Zekey came running over to me and put on an innocent face, hand behind his back. "Ezekial, hands out now." Zeke stretched out his hand and inside his palm was indeed a daddy long leg. Gross.
"IRENE! YOU CAN'T HIDE FOREVER!" Carson screamed. "Carson. Over here now." Carson skitted across the floor and then looked at me. Making the same face as Zeke and walking with a hand behind his back. "Carson, hands out now." He stretched out his hand and there was a Daddy Long Leg inside his palm as well. Double gross.
"Ezekial and Carson, I am very ashamed of you guys. Ezekial I expect more of you. Do not ever chase anyone with a Daddy Long Leg, they are dangerous. They can bite you and give you an infection. Do you understand me?" Carson and Ezekial hung their heads down low and muttered yes. "Good, now go throw those things in lava, or at least outside in the neighboors yard." Ezekial and Carson nodded and walked out heads hung lower.
"Good job Jamie!" Irene said high fiving me, I gave her a high five back and squeezed her into a bear hug. "Jamie why are Carson and Ezekial throwing spiders at the next door neighboors' daughter?" I gasped and screamed, "GET INSIDE THE HOUSE THIS INSTANT!" I faintly heard the little girls cries and I was surprised no steam came out of my ears. The boys looked at me, "are you serious boys? Really? I meant the yard not the girl! Both of you, in the corner. Now." I then turned to Shawn and asked him to retrieve me four books. "Give them to Carson, two on each hand, you stand like that for fifteen minutes Carson, arms bent holding the books equivenlent to your head."
Carson groaned and I sent him a death glare. Shawn helped me into my wheel chair and then I had Shawn wheel me into the kitchen to make myself pancakes. "Irene why don't you go get changed out of your pajamas." I said, and she nodded walking to her room. Why Shawn has a room for her and Zekey made no sense to me. Shawn walked into the kitchen looked at me trying to get the pancake mix into the bowl. I forgot I had no motor function whatsoever. I couldn't even wheel myself! Shawn gave me a sympathetic smile and I just grabbed an apple.
