A/N - Time for a time jump! I have so many ideas that just need Rose to be older...so we're gonna fast forward just a little bit. I want to extend a special thank you to everyone in the Unhinged R Us Discord server for helping me develop Rose's character so much. You'll see me mention them a lot as we go on. This one in particular though I have to thank phenomenalX0 for the best HC of all time. This chapter was also partially inspired by a request by TheKn1ghtnurs3ry. Please keep the requests coming! I may take time to make sure I get them perfect but I will use them. This a/n got just as ramble-y as my chapters...sorry! As always thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy <3

Autumn woke up to a feeling she loved more than anything else in the world. The feeling of her daughter sleeping peacefully on her chest as her husband's arm was lazily draped over the both of them. And these times were becoming more frequent since switching Rose over to her first toddler bed. Now that she was able to get out of bed easier there was hardly a night that went by that she didn't end up at her parent's door; not that her crib was doing much to stop her before, the main reason for the switch was the worry Rose was going to hurt herself climbing over the crib rails.

The parents both knew that they should be putting their daughter back in her bed when she climbed in with them every night, but neither one could ever bring themselves to turn her away. It didn't matter if she'd had a nightmare, complained of a tummy ache, or just came in bluntly asking for cuddles. They always let her stay. Someday she wouldn't want to be this close to them, they had to enjoy it while it lasted.

And there was no way they were going to turn her away that night. No when she toddled in just after midnight on her birthday. Their little girl was now, officially two years old. The whole day, starting right then, would be all about her.

"Happy birthday, little one."

Autumn gave her daughter a kiss on the forehead, brushing her curls away so she could watch her sleep. She couldn't believe how much their life had changed in two years, but every minute had been absolutely perfect. She treasured every moment with her family, especially the quiet moments like this, moments where she realized she had experienced more love in the few years she and Winter had been together than she had in the entire rest of her life.

She tried to stay as still as possible to not disturb her still sleeping loves. They had a big day ahead of them. A few days before they sat Rose down and asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday. Winter and Autumn had taken the entire day off work so they could spoil their little girl. She was their whole world, it was the least they could do. They told her she could do whatever she wanted, sky's the limit. They couldn't help but get emotional when her requests ended up very simple. All she wanted to do was have a family day, filled with activities they did nearly every week.

Before long she felt Winter stir beside her. He was always up early, even when he didn't have to be. Today he was getting up to start on Rose's first request: making breakfast as a family. She loved to help her papa in the kitchen, even if she wasn't all that much help. What she really wanted was to dance around the kitchen with Autumn while Winter made them pancakes; just like they did every Saturday.

Winter placed a kiss on his wife's lips and his daughter's forehead as he made his way to the kitchen to get started. He wanted to get a head start on the cooking so that he could join in on the dancing as well. As soon as he felt like he had done enough prep work to enjoy the morning with his girls, he started up the record player. He turned it up enough so the music would travel upstairs to the bedroom. He knew that the music would draw his girls out of bed, Rose was just like her papa. She couldn't resist disco.

Seconds later, he heard the patter of his daughter's feet coming down the stairs. Her little voice rang out as she ran into the room.

"Hot stuff, Papa! Hot stuff!"
