Caitlyn couldn't sleep that night, she looked over to her side seeing Maddie sleeping peacefully. Caitlyn laid there her thoughts racing.

Did vi forgive jinx?

Did she finally make her choice and choose her?

But we almost (i think) kissed..

Caitlyn couldn't think straight and sat up and walked to her kitchen. She grabbed a drink and looked out the window.

"what are you doing here cupcake?"

Was all caitlyn kept replaying in her head. How vi said that so coldly. Like we never happened. Caitlyn heard footsteps behind her..

"Cait..?" Maddie whispered. "why are you up?"

As maddie stepped closer behind caitlyn resting her head on her upper back while wrapping her arms around her waist "come back to bed" Maddie whispered

Caitlyn sighed knowing she should forget what happened but she couldn't "I will later i just need to think for a moment" Caitlyn said while continuing to stare out the glass paned window.

Maddie nodded before going back to their shared room. A few hours later, caitlyn still couldn't stop thinking about today. She looked over and saw the outfit that she wore when she was in the undercity with vi. She shook her head at the thought, "no" she thought to herself, rolling over so she wasn't facing it. A few minutes later she whispered "shit." and got up

She walked over and threw on her outfit and looked at maddie almost with a guilt filled smile and left to the undercity angry about Jinx.

Vi was back in the now empty arena, training, punching her punching bag. Caitlyn walked in quietly noticing another woman laughing with vi as she trained. She leaned against the wall "late night?" Caitlyn asked

When the woman noticed Caitlyn, she hurried out of the building as cait smirked.

"what are you doing here cupcake" vi sounded annoyed but kept hitting her bag. "I could ask the same" Caitlyn added before walking closer

"I live here so what's your excuse" vi stopped momentarily turning to caitlyn. Cait smiled "oh not happy to see me?"

Vi just scoffed as she threw her boxing gloves down running her hand through her hair "Get to the point caitlyn what are you doing here"

Caitlyn was a little taken aback by her tone but didn't falter "to find out what the hell is going on with you" she folded her arms watching the fighter shift.

"What because I'm not who you wanted me to be, there's something wrong?" Vi snapped.

"Not when you're quite literally destroying yourself" Caitlyn never backed down to Vi's tone and it wasn't going to start now.

"Caitlyn this is all i have." The dark haired fighter raised one of her fist fixing the bandage "This is what i'm good at, the only i've ever been good at."
"Vi you're a good person you don't have t-"

Caitlyn tried to finish when Vi cut her off. Vi seemed to always cut caitlyn off at this point. "No caitlyn. I'm not. I tried to be, for you, for my family and look where that got me."

Vi turned back around and started punching her punching bag again now frustrated "so if a few fights and sleezy hookups is all i got, then so fucking be it"

Caitlyn turned to look at vi when she heard her say that word hookups. For some reason  that bothered the raven haired girl. "Oh so that was one of your conquests i scared off huh?
