❝THE UNQUIETED DEAD❞
Jayde laughed as she was squashed between Rose and the Doctor after the trio had just fallen to the ground when the TARDIS took off. She couldn't help but join in the laughter with the two, finding it hilarious, which was strangely foreign to her àfter use of being isolated for so long, even if the doctor did have companions, she only had a few she got along with. "Blimey!" Rose cackled as the doctor started to stand up.
"Telling me! You both all right?" He asked the two women. Jayde stood up and helped the blonde, their giggles mixing in the air.
"Yeah, I think so. Nothing broken." Rose said, going to the doctor's side as Jayde went on the other side of her, "did we make it? Where are we?" She asked, looking at their monitor.
"I did it! Give the man a medal." The doctor grinned at them. Jayde rolled her eyes as she felt her little robotic friend climb up her arm and onto her shoulder.
"Or participation trophy," Jayde said. The doctor playfully gave her a glare as Rose giggled at the two.
"Anyways." He rolled his eyes back at her. "Earth, Naples, December 24th, 1860." He crossed his arms, proud of himself. Enzo - Rose had helped pick the name out for the small spider - went from her arm and jumped onto Rose, who gently rubbed their head.
"That's so weird. It's Christmas." Rose smiled. The doctor gestured towards the doors, still grinning.
"All yours." Rose looked at the doors, her hand going to the counter in front of her, Enzo making a whirring sound that sounded like he was whining at the lack of head scratches.
"But it's like... Think about it, though. Christma, 1860, happens once, just once, and then it's gone, it's finished, it'll never happen again. Except for you two." She looked between them. Jayde smiled, giving Enzo a boop on the head as he tried to swipe at her fingers. "You can go back and see days that are dead and gone. A hundred thousand sunsets ago." She they kept her eyes set on Jayde, a familiar yet comforting smell filling her nose, "no wonder neither of you stay still." Jayde's eyes softened.
"Not a bad life." Jayde smiled. The doctor watched, his smile softening at the interaction. He was absolutely thrilled about his best friend - platonic soulmate - that she had found her soulmate. He knew Rose would do anything to stay with Jayde, and he only met her probably a few days or ago maybe a few hours. It was hard to tell in the Time Vortex (TARDIS).
"Better with three." Rose said gently, before reaching her hand out and grabbing Jayde's, looking between the two again. "Come on then!" Before running towards the door, dragging Jayde with her as Enzo held tightly to the blonde's jacket with a small squeak. Jayde laughed, trying to skid them to a stop.
