*Throws swear words in your face* HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The sleep that night was uncomfortable, to say the least.

Varian quickly learned that Hugo carries a bag around, and that it holds all of his belongings. He also doesn't sleep in one place for long. About once a week, he gets up and moves.

He also sleeps on the ground with only a blanket. Either they don't have sleeping bags here, or Hugo was just being cheap.

The night before, the sun had finished setting shortly after their conversation. Hugo told Varian that he would have gone and bought another blanket for Varian so they wouldn't have to share; if it wasn't dark already.

So that night, Hugo laid out the blanket on the roof of the building. He and Varian shared the blanket as a thin mattress underneath them both. You would think all clouds would be soft to lay on, but the hard clay-like cloud that they used to build the roof that they laid on was not even remotely close to comfy.

Fortunately for Varian it wasn't cold that night.

He didn't know how he ended up being able to sleep because of how uncomfortable it was.

Hugo was used to wrapping himself up in the blanket, like a sleeping bag. He even told Varian that before they fell asleep. So there was no surprise the next morning when Varian awoke on the cold hard floor. He didn't know how he ended up being able to sleep because of how uncomfortable it was.

Varian groaned, sitting up.

He looked over to Hugo, who was wrapped up in the entire blanket. Varian groaned again, this time in annoyance.

Groaning another time, he realized that he had left his goggles on while he slept. He couldn't ignore the fact that he even brought his goggles with him. If he doesn't keep them on his head, he's probably going to lose them. So from here on out, he'll keep his goggles on his head. Forever.

He was already having a bad day, and he just woke up.

He came to his feet, slowly taking slow steps over to the edge of the building. He leaned on the railing of the about two story building, watching the small little people get ready for the day. He watches them all run around like little ants. Some are already buying things from the Market, and some salespeople are setting up shop.

Varian was still pissed at Hugo and the uncomfortable sleep he got last night, but he couldn't help but admire the view from on top of the building. It distracted him from how tired he was.

He didn't notice when Hugo got up after a few moments. "Hi," said Hugo, as he walked up to Varian, looking down to the town as well.

"Hi," Varian responded, still leaning on the railing.

There was silence for a few moments before Varian added "You took the entire blanket.", sighing.

"Yeah... Uh, sorry about that." Hugo told him. Varian couldn't quite tell if he was sorry or not, but it sounded at least slightly genuine.

"Where do we go?" Varian ignored the apology, instead, he changed the topic.

"What?" Hugo looked confused and rather startled, he just woke up.

"To find a way for me to get home. We need answers." Varian pushed himself off the railing, crossing his arms.

"Oh. Yeah, right. We could go to the library?" Hugo offered.
