A Rainy Day

The Sun starts peering through the curtain, rain slowly pattering against the window.

Y/N and Joel are cuddled up, asleep.

Today is their one day off of work.

Joel's eyes start to flutter open a bit. He looks around for a moment and then looks down at his wife that has her head buried in his chest, still asleep.

After a few minutes of Joel lying there, admiring his beautiful girl while rubbing his strong, calloused hands down her back and on her thighs.

Her eyes start to flutter open

Joel looks down into her eyes as she lifts her head up

"Good morning beautiful" Joel says In his rough morning voice and with a smile on his face.

"Good morning my love" Y/N says, mumbling with a sleepy voice

Joel puts a hand underneath Y/Ns chin and lifts her face up and presses his lips softly against hers.

"I love you so much" Joel says in the kiss

"I love you so much more" Y/N says back

As they continue the kiss Y/N leans her body towards him and slowly lifts her leg over his body and straddles his waist

Joel puts his hands on her waist and flips them over to where he is now on top of her and her legs are wrapped around his waist.

They pull away from the kiss for a second and laugh.

Joel starts planting kisses all over her neck and jaw.

Y/N let's out a small moan

Joel looks up into her eyes, plants a passionate kiss on her lips, and then lays his head on her chest.

"I'm so tired. Can we just sleep all day?" Y/N says as a joke

"Anything you want sugar" Joel says while he is slowly dozing off

Y/N looks down at her chest and into Joel's eyes.

"I love you so much Joel Miller"

"I love you so much too mamas"

Y/N leans up just a little and kisses him on the lips.

As they are holding the kiss, Ellie walks in to ask them something

"Hey guys, Wh-..."

Y/N and Joel stop kissing and look up to face their adopted daughter

"Eww, gross...never mind." Ellie says as she walks out of their room.

The rain is still tapping on the window, wind slightly blowing

They are still laying in their bed, laying back down

Joel moves off of Y/N and lays beside her

She cuddles up next to him into his side

Joel wraps an arm around her shoulder and pulls her in closer

They both slowly fall back asleep.
