Joel:

I miss my girl. It's been so many years. I'll never forget that night. It still haunts me.

"Joel? What's wrong?" Ellie asks me.

I was standing in the living room zoned out.

"Huh? What" I say snapping out of my head

"What's Wrong old man? Something's bothering you." She states

"Nothing I'm fine"

Even though after a while the days get blurred together and it's hard to keep track I will never forget this day. It's mine and Y/Ns anniversary. It would have been our 25th.

I miss my girl.

"No Joel, something is wrong"

"I said I'm fine."

"Shesh. Someone's grumpy today" Ellie says as she walks off

Yeah I'm in a mood but I have a good reason to be.

"I need to go for a walk" I say to myself as I walk out of the house

I walk over to the make shift cemetery that was made.

Me and Tommy made a headstone for my girl

I picked some flowers and placed them on her grave.

I know that she isn't actually buried here but she deserved something.

I start to speak but words don't come out

I kneel down by her grave and my eyes get watery. My chest starts to hurt

I'm standing at the alter waiting to see my beautiful soon to be wife walk down the aisle.

The music starts and the chatter quiets. I see my beautiful daughter Sarah walk down first, tossing flower petals along the Aisle.

Then the doors open again.

There she is.

My gorgeous girl.

My beautiful sugar.

My perfect baby.

My. Girl.

She has made a wonderful impact on my life. How we met feels like destiny.

My eyes start to tear up.

She's so fucking gorgeous

And she's mine

This feels like a dream

She makes it up to me

We grab each others hands

We both have tears in our eyes. Happy tears.

"We are gathered here today for the joining of Y/N  L/N and Joel Miller" the officiant says.
