We build our lives on empty ground,
With hopes that crumble, hearts unbound.
The future once held skies of blue,
Now shadows cover all I knew.
The loneliness becomes my friend,
As dreams of youth begin to end.
We cry for help, but none reply,
So in the darkness, we still lie.
