I dared to dream, but dreams betray,
Each one just fades and slips away.
The more I try, the more I fall,
A heavy heart behind it all.
I reach for hope, but find despair,
A fragile hope too weak to bear.
The future looms, a void so wide,
Where all my broken dreams still hide.
