I wander through the endless night,
In search of dreams that felt so right.
The hope I held, now feels so far,
A distant flicker, a fading star.
With every step, the shadows loom,
Consuming all, inviting gloom.
I grasp for light, but find it’s gone,
A path I walk, but walk alone.
