Young Glader

Part 1

It was just a normal day in the glade, but today was different, the box was coming up today and it has excitement going through the glade, the boys were doing their jobs, Minho was out running the maze with Ben, Newt was doing gardening, and Thomas was doing who knows what. then Thomas joined Newt saying,

"Ready for the new greenie today.?" 

And newt replied 

"Yes Tommy, Everyone is excited to see who the new greenie is." 

But then the box alarm went off and everyone gathered in the area of the box, then the doors opened and Gally went in and everyone looked in to see a young girl that looked about 9. But she was awake and her golden eyes looked up afraid, Gally was in a bad mood that day and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and picked her up but no one noticed the golden marks on her body or the blood on her head yet, Gally took her out of the box still carrying her by the collar of her shirt and threw her to the ground her back hitting the ground hard knocking the wind out of her for a few seconds her head hitting the ground hard making her wound bleed again, the boys were crowding her, and the adrenaline in her veins was spiking then she scrambled to her feet and barged through the boys as Zart yelled,

 "WE GOT A RUNNER!"

and she was fast too, then Minho came back from his run with Ben but they didn't see the child running blindly toward them, Then the Girl ran straight into Minho knocking them both over, 

"Woah kid calm down, who are you?"

Minho said

But Phoenix didn't hear him and saw the other boys running to them, Phoenix bolted into the forest literally jumping into a tree and she stayed silent too afraid to make a noise, the boys were looking for her but then Newt spotted her in the tree and signaled for the others to be quiet then he scaled the tree quickly and got onto the branch next to Phoenix and Phoenix noticed him but didn't run feeling calm when he was near for some unexplainable reason.

"Hey, kid you alright?"

New said calmly in a soft voice trying not to scare her

and Phoenix shook her head and Newt could tell she was scared 

"It's ok to be scared but once you get to know the others you don't need to be scared."

Phoenix was slowly beginning to trust him feeling safe with him

"Why don't you meet Alby he is nice just come down ok?" 

Phoenix nodded and followed Newt down the tree, Newt noticed she was wobbly on her feet and decided to pick her up and put her on his shoulder but what surprised him was that she was light, too light then he felt her body go limp and he took her off his shoulders seeing the blood on her head running down her face, and Newt carried her like she was the most precious thing in the world and ran as fast as he could to the medjacks.
