Saving a Pervert

"Issei was invited on a date by a Fallen Angel in a few days," Koneko said with no emotion at all.

Ryu, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. "A Fallen Angel? They're probably going to kill him," He said before looking at Koneko and spoke again in a playful tone "But you could say something more before entering the room and dropping a bomb like that you know?"

Koneko raised her arms as she went to sit in the couch.

Kiba let out a small chuckle at Koneko's actions. "It was quite the bomb" he said before his face turned a bit more serious. "But Ryu is right, Fallen Angels don't usually play around with humans unless there's something in it for them."

Akeno glanced at Rias. "What should we do now, President?"

Everyone turned to Rias who was sitting on her desk, she closed her eyes for a moment as she considered what to do next. "Ryu," she said at last, "You'll observe the date from a distance. If the Fallen Angel tries anything suspicious, I want you to intervene." She said looking at Ryu. "You know what to do. And if Issei is killed, I'll resurrect him. He's going to be our new member after all."

Ryu sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I hope you know what you're doing," he replied. "The guy might have power, but if he can't keep his hormones in check, he's going to be more of a headache than he's worth."

Rias smiled. "Leave that to me. For now, just make sure he survives."

Ryu smirked "Sure, I got this." he said with confidence gaining a smile from Rias.

Time flew by and the day of the date arrived, and just as Ryu promised found himself perched on a rooftop. As he finished the had set up a small vantage point that provided a clear view of the entrance, where Issei was nervously waiting for Yumma, the Fallen Angel.

"There you are" Ryu said smiling looking at the second-year student.

As he waited, Ryu pulled out his phone and stared at a picture he had taken with Kaito and Hana, the day both siblings were adopted. They were all smiles, carefree and filled with hope. It was a bittersweet reminder of how far he had come since becoming a devil, but it also reinforced his determination to protect those he cared about.

Suddenly, Astrus's voice echoed in his mind, breaking his inner thoughts. "Ryu, the Fallen Angel has arrived."

Ryu quickly shifted his focus back to the mall entrance. He could see Yumma walking towards Issei, who's face lit up as she approached.

"Well then, let the deadly date begin" Ryu thought as Yumma grabbed Issei's hand and ragged him thru the mall

Ryu kept his gaze sharp thru the entire date and fair to say he was quite surprised of what he say, He noticed how Issei treated Yumma with surprising respect, complimenting her in a way that seemed sincere, even gifted her a bracelet.

"For being a pervert, he's actually handling this quite well," Ryu remarked.

Astrus chimed in, his tone laced with sarcasm. "Quite ironic if we considered his reputation."

Ryu chuckled softly at the observation "You are right on that" he replied, "Well I guess we can only wait". He concluded as the day advanced, after some hours of waiting Ryu saw Yumma led Issei away from the mall toward an isolated part of a park, where a fountain glimmered under the falling sun.

"It's time to act," Ryu said standing up and jumping from the rooftop landing with no trouble, as he followed the couple while keeping himself hidden.

As he approached the fountain, Ryu could hear their laughter starting to feel bad for Issei. The boy was genuinely enjoying himself. But he could feel Yumma's charm and her words were laced with an alluring undertone that Ryu could sense even from a distance.
