''did he just hung up on us?'', Sarah asked looking at RJ. RJ shrugged. ''that's JJ for you. Nothing is surprising when it comes to him to be honest''. ''still want to go in there?'', the Cameron girl asked unsure if the boy still wanted. The Routledge boy nodded. ''if you want''. ''yeah sure. Let's go into an abandoned building'', she said sarcastic.

''you trust me?'', he asked her looking deeply in her eyes. ''uh, I guess'', she answered honestly as she looked at him.

That was all the boy needed to be sure as he went out the car and opened up the passanger side for Sarah.

''such a gentleman'', she commented. ''only for you''.

The couple walked to the outside door. RJ was about to open when Sarah stopped him. ''wait''. The boy looked at her.

''you not ready?''. She crossed her arms. ''boy, am I ever. But just open it''.

He shook his head at her playfulness and opened up the door. Holding it and motioning for Sarah to go in.

The moment she stepped aside and looked at the building she couldn't help but let a relieved sigh.

''oh my god'', she gasps. ''not bad huh?'', RJ commented smugly with the way Sarah was intruged with the place. ''no, it's beautiful'', she complimented.

RJ smiled more at the comment, but it faltered as he remembered the reason he knew about it.

''my uh my father showed me and JB this. He used to come here when he was a kid. Said it was a relic from the old island'', he informed her.

''oh, like an antique?'', she questioned. ''yeah you could say that. Before all the condos and the development'', he continued.

''and that?'', Sarah asked as she pointed at the bell tower.

He looked up as well. ''yeah that's the bell tower. Back in the day it used to ring bells, when the boats would come in''.

Sarah teared her gaze and looked to RJ. ''can I see?''. The boy nodded. ''yeah sure. Just let me get there first. You know sort it out type of thing. Rats and whatnot, better to be safe than sorry and I don't want you to get hurt'', he explained.

''mhm'', was all the Cameron girl could let out as she blushed at his selflessness. Especially around her.

The boy went first up and looked to see if it was clear, which it was. Then he walked back to the entrance and held his hand down for Sarah to take.

''come on, I'll help you. Just watch where your going'', he told her.

He helped her up and she examined the tower the moment she came up. ''wow, it's beautiful''. ''sure is...''. The boy looked at something and began to smile.

''look at this'', he pointed at a drawing on the wall.

The Cameron girl looked, and it softened her heart. ''is that you?'', she pointed at a little boy besides another and a man.

''uh yeah''. ''aww''. ''I was almost eleven and JB ten. He and dad did the drawing I was just playing with my batman cape so''.

''you had a batman cape?''. ''yeah that's why I have that over my head'', he explained.

She kissed his cheek. ''cute''.

As RJ starred at the drawing supposed to be him, his brother and father. He couldn't help but to be happy but also sad at the same time. Not knowing where his father was, was devestating for the boy.

''ready to see the rest?'', he changed the topic not wanting to look at the drawing anymore. ''there is more?''. ''behind this'', he says as he opens the window.

Sarah looked starstruck. ''that's a beautiful view''. RJ smiled. ''not as beautiful as my view''.

This made the Cameron girl look at him and see him already looking at her. She cleared her throat.

''so, I get this feeling I'm actually the first girl here? I mean JJ confirmed it when you didn't even show it to him''.

''no, no. You are so not the first girl. I bring so many of my hookups here. JJ just doesn't know it. You know I have secrets from JJ sometimes'', he joked. She raised her brow slightly at him. ''is that so?''.

''no, actually you're the first girl up here. Even the first person up here with me except JB'', he confessed.

''good thing I'm your first then''. ''yup my one and only princess''.

Sarah looked back outside then at the boy besides her. ''so, this is going to sound really morbid but today was a lot of fun''. RJ smirked at her statement. ''enjoying life outside the bubble wrap?''.

''actually yes. I love it'', she agreed. ''good to know and more to come I guess. I mean retriving the gold and that''.

''mhm. I can already see the look on JJ's face when he gets his hand on it''.

The Routledge boy chuckles.

''yeah, his eyes are so going in caching mood''.

Without them realizing. They were getting more and more closer to the other. Both of them were just inches away from each other's lips.

Both of them waited for the other to do something.

The tension grew stronger, so RJ took the lead and connected their lips together.

They were now on full make out session. RJ held her waist to deepen the kiss more and Sarah took her hand around his neck.

His hands began to lower themselves from Sarah's waist and that's when she pulled apart.

''I-I. I'm not'', she struggled to speak. RJ understood right away what she was referring to. ''no, no shit. I'm sorry I shouldn't have. I'm a douche. Sorry'', he apologized.

''I should warn you when I get to this point with boys, I... bail'', she admitted. RJ shook his head. ''no, I understand Sarah. We should stop. I shouldn't have''. ''it's okay RJ''.

''no, it's not. Look I can wait I don't need that stuff. I understand'', he told her.

Sarah smiles at how understandable he is. ''okay, thanks''. He scoffed. ''no need to thank me princess''.

RJ sits down and so does the Cameron girl besides him.

''does it freak you out? I mean because I haven't?'', she asked. He looked at her and quickly shook his head. ''what? No of course not''. ''I mean it's not like there haven't been chances'', she explains.

''trust me I'm sure you've had plenty of chances''. She shoved him playfully. ''I say I want to and I even think I want to, but then the moment comes and I bail''.

''may I ask why? Do you perhaps think you're going to lose control or something?'', he asked her. She shook her head at him. ''no. I guess I'm afraid that you'll see who I am. Then you won't like it'', she explained to him.

''wow wow. Let me stop you there princess. I will never won't like you. I all ready see you and I can tell you I like what I'm seeing. You don't have to be afraid of that. Even if sex is involved or not. In my eyes you you can never make me not like you. I guess you can say that from the moment I saw you, I already was drawn to you. So, I don't think you have anything to worry about there, Sarah'', he said truthfully.

He didn't get a response from the girl, instead he got two lips attached to his own. Which resulted into a passionately kiss between the two.
