No-Ones POV-

As the tension in the room thickened with the mention of 'L,' a soft chime interrupted the silence. The large monitor at the front of the room flickered to life. Everyone's eyes shifted toward it, their attention captured as the screen turned black, save for a single letter in bold white:

L

Murmurs spread across the room like wildfire, but before anyone could speak, the door to the briefing room creaked open. A young man with sharp eyes and a calm, composed expression entered. His presence immediately drew attention. He looked almost too young to be there, but there was a quiet confidence in the way he carried himself.

"Ah, I.N, he's the only person who can contact L," one of the detectives muttered under his breath, as if the arrival of this person had been expected.

Minho glanced at the newcomer, curious. I.N? He'd heard whispers of someone by that name, someone deeply involved in this case but operating in the shadows. But he had never seen him in person.

Jeongin, or I.N as people in the investigation world , stepped forward without a word, his eyes scanning the room before settling on the monitor. The air around him was charged with tension, but he moved with quiet authority. He carried a sleek laptop under his arm, setting it down on the table and connecting it to the room's system.

"He's here," Jeongin said simply, his voice calm but serious.

The room froze, and even Mr. Lee sat up straighter. The screen flickered again, and soon, the image of the single letter reappeared.

"Good afternoon," a voice echoed through the speakers, calm and measured, though unmistakably authoritative. It was Hyunjin, though no one here would know that. "I understand you're all quite desperate to catch whoever's responsible for these deaths."

Minho's breath hitched. The voice was eerily calm, detached in a way that made it clear this person was not someone who operated within normal limits.

"L," Mr. Lee greeted, his tone measured, but even he couldn't mask the curiosity in his voice. "You said you have insight into the case. We're listening."

"Indeed," Hyunjin's voice came through again, smooth and calculated. "This killer—let's call them Kira—has been working for some time, correct? But you're no closer to finding them."

The room remained silent, everyone hanging on L's every word.

"Fortunately for you, I've already begun narrowing down potential suspects," L continued. "Though I must warn you—this isn't someone who can be caught through traditional means. Kira possesses something far beyond your understanding."

Jeongin remained focused, his fingers deftly tapping on the keyboard, communicating with L behind the scenes. He was the only one in direct contact with this elusive figure, and his role was crucial. The investigators had learned to trust him, but even they didn't know the full extent of his connection to L.

Minho couldn't help but feel an eerie sense of anticipation. L's reputation was legendary, but the more he heard, the more he felt like they were in over their heads. This wasn't just a case anymore—it was becoming a battle of wits with someone who believed they were untouchable.

Jeongin finally spoke up, his voice breaking the silence. "L has been tracking Kira's movements globally. He's the reason we even have the name 'Kira.' But... the method Kira uses to kill is still unknown."

Hyunjin's voice returned, his tone colder now. "You won't find Kira by normal means. This is not a conventional killer. But I promise you this: I will bring Kira to justice."
