Ava's POV

Abel sits on the floor of the closet, and pulls me into his lap to hold me in his arms. He slowly rocks me back and forth placing kisses on the top and side of my head. His touch has calmed my sobs down to mere sniffles now. The hum between us and rocking are enough to lull me to sleep.

"Feel better?" I sniffle and nod my head. "Do you still need to go through any boxes?" I shake my head. "I don't mean to rush you, but it's getting late. And I'd feel much better getting you home within the safe boarders of our pack." I pull away to sit up straight.

"O-okay, yeah you're right. Let me just check all the doors. I don't want any of his enemy's getting in here too easily. " I stand up holding my hand out to Abel. He smiles and takes it even though he and I both know he doesn't need the help. He doesn't let go as we start walking out.

I take a look around the room, and my eyes go to our wedding clothes on the bed. I walk over picking them up by their hangers and decide they need to be put away in the closet before I can doing anything else. When I turn around Abel is watching. "I can't look at them while I'm in here. I just want to hide them away in the closet." He slowly nods as I start to walk again. I quickly hang them and rush back out again. I check the balcony doors from the bedroom making sure it's locked and close the curtains. I grab a suitcase and start packing a few of my belongings from the closet and then the dresser. I pack up my jewelry box, and a few pictures off my vanity. I wont display them, but I want to keep them with me. I gasp, as I pick one up I notice that the glass is cracked. Like someone intentionally smashed it and put it back. But who would've done this?

"What is it Baby?" Abel comes rushing over.

"This picture of Rome and I. The glass is cracked. Someone broke it." He takes it from my hands to inspect it.

"Maybe it fell." I shake my head.

"How could it fall and crack like that when it's always been in the center of my table. It's never been at the edge. Someone did this." He hands it back to me and I place it in my suite case.

"Who would be able to do that?" I turn to look at him tilting my head.

"Who brought all of Romes things back here and covered everything in sheets? I know it was pack members but which ones? Could it be one of Peters loyalists?" A chuckle comes from Abel as he slowly makes his way over to me.

"Peter didn't have any real loyalists. We followed him because we didn't have a choice. There was nobody strong enough to challenge him. Not until you my Luna." I smile and start to feel the tingles at the way he says Luna. But guilt cools me off. I cant do that here.

"Come on lets get back and we'll find out who did the moving." He nods and takes my hand in one of his and my bag in his other.

All the way back I think about the letter, and the frame and who would've done it. We don't go directly home. We go to the pack house first to find out which pack members did the packing and moving.

"Luna, why would one of your own pack member vandalize your belonging? Everyone agreed to follow you with no hesitation." Leo was very surprised when I told him what I found and I could tell he found it hard to believe that someone here would've done anything wrong.

"I don't know Leo. Maybe not everyone is as happy as you are to see that I've taken over with Abel becoming my Alpha. Just find out who was put on the task and have them brought here, I'll deal with it." Leo sigh and hangs his head before pulling out his cell out of his pocket to make the call.

Abel's leaning against the front of his desk next to where I'm standing when I feel a tug on my belt loops. I smile and come to stand between his spread legs and wrap my arms around the back of his neck to hug him. He bury's his face in the crook of my neck kissing and nipping at my skin. "I love when you take charge of pack members." I giggle trying to pull away.
