Harry Potter’s childhood was different from the one fate had originally planned for him. With Voldemort’s defeat on Halloween night, his world became one of warmth, love, and, most importantly, family. Instead of growing up in a cupboard under the stairs, he lived surrounded by the most important people in his life—his mother, his aunt, and two of his father’s best friends, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.

Petunia had never married. Her life had been dedicated to the mystic arts and the battles she fought in the shadows, leaving little room for romance or a traditional life. But that didn’t mean she was alone. Her bond with Lily had deepened after the attack on Godric’s Hollow, and with Harry in their lives, the sisters had formed a stronger connection than they’d ever had before.

Sirius, exonerated from any blame for the Potters’ betrayal, took his role as Harry’s godfather seriously—perhaps too seriously at times. He moved into the house in Godric’s Hollow, helping Lily raise Harry with the same reckless affection he’d once shown James. Remus Lupin, ever the calm and steady presence, often stayed as well, balancing out Sirius’s wild energy with quiet wisdom.

It was an unconventional family, to say the least, but Harry grew up loved and protected, surrounded by people who had fought for him even before he was born.
