When Harry returned to Godric’s Hollow that summer, the house was filled with tension. Sirius and Remus were constantly meeting with Dumbledore, planning strategies for the inevitable battle to come. Lily, though determined to stay strong, couldn’t hide her fear for Harry’s safety. Petunia, however, remained calm.
“Don’t worry, Harry,” she told him one evening as they sat in the garden, the stars twinkling overhead. “We’re ready for this. You’re not alone.”
Harry looked at her, his green eyes filled with concern. “I don’t want you getting hurt, Aunt Petunia. You’ve already done so much.”
Petunia smiled softly, brushing a strand of hair from his forehead. “You’re my family, Harry. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect you. But remember—this isn’t just your fight. We’re all in this together.”
And as Voldemort’s shadow spread across the wizarding world, Petunia Evans prepared herself for the greatest battle of her life. She would stand beside her sister, her nephew, and her friends, not as an outsider, but as an equal. Together, they would face the darkness.
And this time, no one would fight alone.
