•Chapter 13•

•Angel's POV•

I left my group of friends in search for Victor. I really needed to talk to him like asap. I walked through the familiar halls and couldn't find him anywhere. I walked inside the gym and saw Victor sitting alone on the bleachers.

"Hey loner," I yelled causing him to look back towards me. "Hey," he sighed. As I approached him I noticed that his eyes were all red and puffy. "What happened?" I asked.

"I promise it's nothing," he said causing me to stare at him. "Why're you staring at me?"

"Because I'm not going to talk to you until you tell me what happened." I said turning around. "Angel wait!!" I heard before which made me turn around. "Please you're the only person who actually is still talking to me." He sighed. I walked over towards Victor and sat next to him.

"Tell me what happened." I demanded.

"It's just Hayes..." He breathed out. "What about Hayes?" I questioned as I wanted to know more.

"He has never been this pissed before and like now he can't even look at me anymore." He said causing me to sigh. "You know he has a good reason." I said.

"Oh really and what is that reason?" He asked turning towards me. I let out a deep breath and told him everything that Hayes told me earlier this morning.

I honestly feel so bad that I told Victor why. But he deserved to know. I observed his facial expression and noticed it went from sad to relieved to guilty in a matter of seconds. "Are you okay?" I finally said.

"Yeah I just never knew he liked them. Like if he told me me that he liked the girls I could've just backed off." He said looking down.

"Well let's go and find Hayes so that you two can make up with each other." I said as I grabbed his wrist which cause him to wince. "Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. But can you just please not grab me by my wrist again?"

"Why??" I said grabbing his hand.

"Just please don't." He pleaded causing me to sigh in defeat. I will find out what he's hiding from me. But I just have this really bad feeling that he self harmed or something.

"Let's go and look for him then." I said dragging him out of the gym. Right when we exited the gym we immediately saw Hayes. Once he saw us his eyes immediately darted towards mine and Victor's hands.

"Are you guys dating again?" He asked which cause me to shake my head no. "Victor wanted to tell you something." I said as I pushed Victor in front of me.

"Well?" He impatiently asked.

"Angel told me that you were pissed because I had a tendency to steal every single girl that you liked away." Hayes then looked towards my direction and gave me a glare with his piercing blue eyes. If looks could kill them I would be dead by now.

"Hey he had to know." I said which caused Hayes to roll his eyes at me.

"Wait I'm not finished! And if  you told me that you liked the girl I would've backed off." Victor finished.

"Would you really?" Hayes asked.

"Yeah of course we are brothers. I'm not going to let a stupid girl get between us." I stared at Victor and started to glare at him.

"Um... excuse me in case you forgot a girl was standing right here. Plus girls are way smarter than boys so you shouldn't be saying that." I said annoyed.

"Yeah yeah yeah whatever. So we cool bro?" Victor said once again. Hayes nodded and they did their little weird handshake thing. How do they have the time to even think of a handshake??

•Hayes Pov•

I need to tell Victor about my feelings for Angel. But I just know that they still like each other and I don't want to come in between them. To be honest they are like really cute together, literally my otp.

I just am dying to tell someone, but just don't know who to tell yet. Like I would tell Angel, but then I would be telling her I like her. Then if I told Victor he might get mad. Then if I told mark he might blab about it and tell Angel.

Ugh, when did life get so complicated?
