•Angel's POV•

I woke up to see Carter snoring right next to me. Wait a minute, why is he in my room?! Ugh this little fucker.

"Carter McCoy Reynolds what the fuck are you doing inside my room?" I yelled which caused Carter to wake up.

"Hayes told me what happened and he also said that you just were really hurt. Plus you were crying in your sleep." He said giving me a sympathetic look. "But when I see that Victor kid, I swear to God I will beat his ass," he continued.

"Awe Cartah loves me!!" I squealed as I ran to hug him.

"Ew gross. No. I hate you, you little shit," He said walking out of my room.

"Well damn..." I mumbled.

"That's my catchphrase!! Get your own." He yelled.

"Shut up." I yelled back.

"Don't tell me to shut up, you little shit." I rolled my eyes at the nickname he gave me.

"Shut up!!! You fucker." You see Carter and I are nice to each other and love each other so much, but then we go from loving each other to hating each other real quick.

I quickly got ready and ran downstairs. As I entered the kitchen, I heard a ding. I took my phone out of my back pocket and saw that I had a message from Hayes.

Hayes🍉🍍: hey loser:)

Me: hi hoe

Hayes🍉🍍: do you want to walk to school together?

Me: Uh yeah sure, but let me tell Victor

Hayes🍉🍍: Angel...

Me: what? I forgave him u didn't

Hayes🍉🍍: Yeah whatever. I'll be at your house in five along with Nash.

Me: are you okay? You seem pissed

Hayes🍉🍍: I'm fine. I'll just tell you later.

Me: um...okay? Bye I guess

I put my phone back in my pocket and started to think about Hayes. He has been acting really strange since yesterday. Like he just was really pissed at Victor. If anything he should be pissed at Jordan.

It's just that yesterday he was extra nice to me like nicer than usual. He even bought me pizza like he would never do that.

My thoughts were distracted by a knock on the door.

"Carter!! Nash and Hayes are here!!" I yelled as I grabbed my backpack and opened the door. But I was immediately greeted by Victor.

"Uh... hey Angel. Are you ready?" He asked as he played with the hem of his sweater. Something he would do when he was nervous.

"I'm sorry Vic, but I'm going to walk with Hayes and he really doesn't want to see you at the moment."

"Oh. Erm, okay then. I'll see you in first period," He said with hurt in his eyes as he walked away. Before I closed the door, I started to hear yelling outside.

I walked out and saw that Hayes was about to jump on Victor, but was just held back by Nash. I looked over at Hayes and saw that his eyes were full of hatred.

"Hayes stop." I said which caused him to look towards my direction and calm down. "Victor, if I were you go. I'll talk to you in first." He nodded and began walking away. My attention was then focused on Hayes. "You need to forgive him sooner or later."

"Why???" He whined.

"Hayes you've been friends with Victor since you two were five." Nash replied.

"Yeah and??"

"You literally can't look at him without starting a fight." I answered causing him to sigh. "Plus why're you even mad at him still? He told you what really happened. If anything you should be mad at Jordan."

"I have my reasons." He looked away.

"Okay whatever." I said obviously annoyed by Hayes right now. A few seconds later Carter came out of the house.

"What happened here? Why is Angel and Hayes mad?" Carter questioned.

"I'll tell you later." Nash said as he started walking away with Carter right next to him. Hayes and I then followed them.

"So what were your reasons?" I asked Hayes. He sighed.

"It's just that Victor tends to make every girl I like want him instead."

•Hayes Pov•

"It's just that Victor tend to make every girl I like want him instead." I told Angel. Which is the truth and he doesn't even try.

Like I gotta admit I kind of had a crush on Angel for awhile now and like he stole her away from me and I just can't take it anymore.

"Oh well I mean he doesn't do it on purpose. If anything it happens on accident and plus those girls were stupid because they don't know how good of a person you are." She said as she stared at me.

"You're stupid then." I mumbled hoping that she didn't hear me.

"What?" She stopped.

"Nothing, I just said well Jordan's stupid then." She nodded and we continued walking.

*At School*

Angel and I met up with the rest of our friends at my locker, I looked around and realized that Victor wasn't around. Weird usually when he's sad he'll still hang out with us.

I guess Celia and Ali told everyone what happened and they were just mad at him.

"Guys, where's Victor?" Angel asked.

"Well we saw him walk towards our direction and then he turned around and I guess went somewhere else." Mark shrugged.

"Why're you even asking questions about the guy that broke your heart?" Ali interrogated.

"I was just... uh curious. I'm going to start walking to first period." She said taking off.
