•Chapter 14•

*Lunch*

•Angel's POV•

I walked out of fourth period walking towards the cafeteria leaving Jordan in the classroom. The whole period I tried to avoid talking to her and lucky for me we didn't paint.

I just can't believe she cheated on MY best friend and kissed MY boyfriend and lied to MY face about it.

Ugh.

I just don't want to talk to her at all right now or maybe ever.

I entered the cafeteria and began to look for one of my friends.

"Hey!" I heard. I looked up and saw Hayes' piercing blue eyes staring at me. "Hi," I replied. "Wait are you not going to get lunch?" He asked noticing that I was walking towards our table. "Nah I'm not really hungry."

"Oh okay. Wait do you want to come over afterschool?" He asked. "Yeah sure!!" I replied as I continued walking towards our table. I looked around and saw that Celia and Alison were giving Victor a death glare. I sat next to Victor and started comforting him.

A few moments later Hayes came. As we were talking I saw Jordan sit next to Hayes in the corner of my eye.

"Oh hey Jordan!" Chris yelled. "Why're you sitting at this table?" Hayes spat. "Um... because you're my boyfriend and all of you are my friend." She said in a 'duh' tone. "Whoever said that I was your boyfriend?" Hayes rudely asked. "You did?" She asked confused.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you that we are over. So you can go and walk away and just leave this table." He said. "Wow. Kicking me out of the table that I chose." She rolled her eyes as she walked away.

"Okay why'd you do that to Jordan?" Celia asked.

"She cheated on me with Victor." Hayes  replied.

"Shouldn't you be mad at Victor instead then?" Alison asked.

"No I shouldn't because Victor attempted to push Jordan off of him. But he couldn't and plus he didn't kiss back Jordan so he didn't cheat on Angel." He breathed out. Which cause the whole table to say 'oh."

"So if anything y'all should be mad at Jordan and not Victor." I said which caused the whole table to erupt into laughter. "What?" I asked clearly confused. "She cheated on Hayes before and that time we were really mad at her and then once they got back together we all knew that she was going to cheat on him again." Mark explained.

"Oh my god. No offense but she's such a thot." I said which caused them to laugh harder. "What it's true?" I laughed causing them all to nod their heads in response.

*Afterschool*

•Hayes POV•

I'm just dying to tell someone about my feelings but I just don't know who. This has literally been killing me the whole day.

Ugh.

I looked to my side and noticed that Angel wasn't walking next to me anymore. I turned around trying to look for her and then I soon saw her with Victor.

All of a sudden they both leaned in and kissed each other.

My heart immediately shattered into millions of pieces. Huh... I guess they're together again. I don't even get why I'm sad, I already knew that this was going to happen. I turned around and started to walk home with my head down.

"Hayes wait up!" I heard as footsteps approached me. I looked up and saw that it was Angel and Victor. Ugh. I was supposed to hang out with only Angel, not Victor. "I thought we were going to hang out?" Angel asked with her sweet voice. Gosh if it was possible I would listen to her voice forever.

"Yeah but then I saw you two together and I didn't want to ruin your moment because I knew that you guys were together and-"

"Okay. Okay. Calm down bro." Victor chuckled. "You two can go and hang out with each other. I have to go home anyways. I'll text both of you later." He said walking away. "Oh wait before I forget." He turned around and walked over to Angel and kissed her. "I love you." He said staring in her eyes. "I love you too."

"I love you too." I mimicked her. "Shut up." She laughed. "You guys are really cute together." I fake smiled at the thought of them together. I mean I love them together but it just hurts me when I actually see them together being all cute and lovely dovey.

But if their happy together then I'm happy for them.

"Awe thanks." Angel replied. "It's the truth you know?" I said. "I know." She smirked causing me to laugh. "You're so cocky," I laughed. "Shut up," She laughed. "Shut up." I said mocking her as I ran away. I looked behind me and saw that she was catching up to me.

"Grier come back here so I can slap you!" She yelled laughing. "Come and catch me Reynolds," I say as I ran further down the street. Times like this, I forget that Angel and Victor are together.

If you really like/love someone you would put their happiness before yours.
