The week after I had seen Sebastian had become strange. I found myself having trouble focusing on my classes, just thinking about why he had come back, and for what reason.

To this change, Ominis had taken notice and had been scolding me telling me that 'boy' wasn't worth my constant worry, however, Ominis had always told me to get over it.

That I couldn't simply do.

I knew I hadn't lost my mind when I began to hear words about other students seeing Sebastian too. People in my grade had also become majorly confused when he had just left so suddenly, leaving people wondering the same thing I had.

Internally, I felt annoyed at the rest of my peers wondering so much about Sebastian. Sure they had known him and seen him in the hallways, known him for being exceptional at quidditch his fourth year when I hadn't been around yet.

But I was the one who really knew him. People had seemed to forget that fact as no one associated me with him anymore. The thought stung.

"You're spacing out again, Millicent," Ominis said in an annoyed tone facing ahead.

We had taken some time to sit in the courtyard to get some fresh air and escape all the gossip occurring within the castle. Ominis knew I was too caught up in trying to hear what everyone was saying. Maybe if I didn't know what was going on, they did.

After all, students had seen Sebastian near Hogsmeade, and in the highlands, while traveling.

Quite the coverage you have all around this place, Sebastian.

"I know, I'm sorry. I just can't stop thinking about it. He's really back." I said my tone far off, as if I was telling him about nothing but a dream. Ominis scoffed.

"So? We don't know why he's back. From what I've heard he isn't the same Sebastian we knew when he left." Ominis said, a frown spreading onto his face.

"I'm sure you've heard what happened," I said shortly. He nodded.

"Burning down his own house is quite theatrical, not completely surprised I must admit." He replies. I widened my eyes a bit.

"You can't possibly say that. It's completely unlike him to do something of that capacity!" I say. Ominis nods his head and rests his head in his hands.

"Millicent, with all due respect. You've only known Sebastian for a couple of years. I've been here since the start. I've seen every meltdown, every impulsive moment he's had." He paused and sighed. "Sebastian's been through a lot. I'm afraid he's let his anger consume him." He states.

I don't reply. I only look up at the sky, contemplating if he was completely changed. I wasn't a stranger to losing someone close to me, but I hadn't chosen to throw everything I ever knew away just to prove a point.

I wondered if his obsession with saving Anne had passed, though I doubted it.
