The day had come to further look into the potion Sebastian wanted to so desperately get his hands on. I had a dreadful feeling about what Ominis and I would find on the search for more information on the potion, and where to find it. I remembered briefly my encounter with Sebastian in the restricted section, how the book he was reading had brief information regarding the potion and its properties.

However, I knew Sebastian had taken the book, and I came to terms with the fact that getting that book from him would be a lost cause.

Ominis and I walked into the library. It was past curfew hours, and we knew we had to be careful. I wasn't my first time sneaking around the school at night, but recently, the prefects had been put on more caution since the plethora of students trying to sneak into the restricted section. I'd like think Sebastian, and I had started that small fad our fifth year when everyone found out about our sneaking into the forbidden section, and other students wanted to try it for themselves.

As Ominis and I used the disillusionment spell to safely navigate to the section, we were finally in the clear. Letting ourselves become visible again, I gave him a concerned look. As much as I was determined to find more about the potion, I wasn't sure I would be happy with what we would find.

Helping Sebastian was my priority, but things could get much more complicated if this potion wasn't simple.

"You said Sebastian had a book that briefly mentioned the potion, right?" Ominis questioned, walking over and taking a seat on the dusty chair decorating the matching run-down table. I nodded even if I knew he couldn't see it, thought I never acted any differently towards him because of his lack of vision.

"Yes. But he took it with him that night. We must look for another book that mentions the potion. Getting that other book from Sebastian is no use." I replied starting to shuffle through some old books on the shelves.

I could tell this search wouldn't be pleasant. All the books were so abandoned that they all began to look the same. Shades of faded colors blended all together, and no books seemed to stand out. I coughed, some dust making their way into my nose.

"I see. Well then, we better start looking. I can't promise I'll be much help, but I'll try my best." Ominis said flashing me a grin, to which I returned. I knew he could sense it as we both started looking around, looking through book after book.

Hours seemed to have passed as our search continued into the late hours of the night. We were both clearly tired, but we persisted. In a way, I was glad Ominis had even offered to help me at all. Considering the constant effort to stop Sebastian in his conquest for dark relics fifth year, he had been ignored. I admired his generosity in even wanting to help Sebastian after he had disregarded him as a friend who was only looking to help.

I slumped down on a nearby chair, sighing out in frustration. I was starting to lose hope we would even find anything at all down here. Rubbing my fingers on the bridge of my nose, I knew I needed to keep going. I stood up, when I heard an audible crunch beneath my foot. I looked down to see a page.

I bent down and picked it up. I noticed it had been ripped out of its original book, and was crumbled up, the lines creasing the page, making it looked abused, in a way. I flattened it out as best I could, squinting my eyes to better see the faded words on the page. This was clearly an old page.
