CHAPTER 12

TIME SKIP

Y/N'S POV

As we stepped out of the taxi and into the bustling streets of Europe, my heart raced with excitement. The air was crisp and filled with the scent of fresh pastries from nearby bakeries. Colorful buildings lined the streets, and I could hear the distant sounds of laughter and chatter in a language I barely understood.

"We're really here!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my enthusiasm.

Taehyung chuckled, his eyes sparkling with joy. "Welcome to Europe! Are you ready for our adventure?"

We made our way to the hotel, a charming little place nestled between two vibrant cafés. The exterior was adorned with flowers, and the wrought-iron balconies gave it an old-world charm that felt magical. As we entered the lobby, I was struck by the elegant décor—marble floors, vintage chandeliers, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

"This place is beautiful!" I said, looking around in awe.

"I'm glad you like it. I wanted it to feel special," Taehyung replied, a proud smile on his face.

After checking in, we made our way to our room. As soon as we stepped inside, I gasped at the view. Large windows opened up to a stunning panorama of the cityscape, with quaint rooftops and the distant silhouette of a castle.

"Oh wow, Taehyung! Look at this view!" I rushed to the window, my heart fluttering with excitement.

Taehyung stood beside me, his arm wrapping around my waist. "It's amazing, right? I thought you'd love it."

I turned to him, unable to hide my grin. "You really outdid yourself! I can't believe we're finally here."

"And this is just the beginning," he said, pulling away to grab the itinerary he had prepared. "We have a lot to see and do. First, I thought we could explore the local market and try some authentic food."

I nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! Let's go!"

As we left the hotel, the energy of the city engulfed us. Street musicians played lively tunes, and the sounds of laughter echoed around us. I felt a sense of freedom, a weight lifted off my shoulders, as we wandered hand in hand through the cobblestone streets.

Taehyung pointed out various shops and cafés, sharing fun facts he had read about the city. "Did you know that this city is famous for its chocolate? We have to try some!"

"Chocolate? Now you've got my attention!" I laughed, feeling a warmth spread through me as I looked up at him.

We meandered through the bustling market, sampling local delicacies, from savory pastries to sweet treats. Taehyung was playful, stealing bites from my plate and teasing me when I'd laugh at his antics.

"Hey! You're supposed to be sharing!" I mock-glared at him, but I couldn't help but smile.

"But I can't help myself! Everything tastes better when it's stolen," he replied with a cheeky grin.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, we found a small square with an open-air café. We settled at a table outside, the ambiance perfect with twinkling lights strung above us.

"To our adventure!" Taehyung raised his glass, and I clinked mine against his.

"To our adventure!" I echoed, my heart brimming with happiness.

In that moment, surrounded by the beauty of the city and the warmth of Taehyung's presence, I knew this trip was more than just a getaway; it was the beginning of something new for us—an adventure filled with laughter, love, and endless memories to create together.

IN ROOM

After a whirlwind trip through Europe filled with laughter, shared meals, and countless memories, we finally returned to our hotel room, the familiar scent of freshly laundered sheets welcoming us back. The door clicked shut behind us, and a wave of warmth washed over me, making me feel secure in the cozy haven we had made for ourselves.

"I can't believe we're back at the hotel," I said, kicking off my shoes and letting out a small sigh of relief.

Taehyung chuckled as he set our bags down beside the bed. "It feels weird, doesn't it? Like we just left for a minute and came right back."

I walked over to the window, where the lights of the city twinkled like stars against the night sky. "I'm going to miss this view," I admitted, glancing back at him.

Taehyung walked over to me, his arms slipping around my waist as he pressed a soft kiss to the top of my head. "We still have some time left. Let's make the most of it."

I leaned into him, feeling his warmth against my back. "You always know how to make every moment special," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I never want this to end."

He turned me around to face him, his eyes gazing deeply into mine. "It doesn't have to," he said softly. "We can keep making moments like this, wherever we are. It's not just about Europe. It's about us."

My heart fluttered at his words, and I smiled up at him. "You always say the right thing."

Taehyung brushed a strand of hair behind my ear, his hand lingering at the side of my face. "That's because I mean it. You mean everything to me, Y/N."

We stood there, wrapped up in each other, the city lights casting a golden glow around us. The world outside felt distant and quiet, as if it was just us two, lost in this moment together.

"Come here," he whispered, taking my hand and leading me to the bed. We both sank into the soft sheets, lying side by side, our legs tangled together as we faced each other.

I traced the line of his jaw with my fingertips, marveling at how lucky I felt to have him by my side. "Thank you for this trip," I said softly, my voice filled with emotion. "For everything."

Taehyung's hand gently rested on my cheek, his thumb brushing against my skin. "I'd do anything to make you happy, Y/N. That's all I want."

As I looked into his eyes, I saw the depth of his love and the promise of so much more. I leaned in, pressing my lips to his in a kiss that was soft but filled with all the unspoken feelings between us.

When we pulled away, Taehyung smiled at me, his hand still resting on my cheek. "Let's just stay like this tonight. No rush, no plans. Just you and me."

I nodded, content in the warmth of his embrace. "I wouldn't want it any other way."

And so we stayed there, wrapped in each other's arms, as the city of Europe buzzed quietly around us, knowing that, wherever we went next, we would face it together.
