She was pale. Too pale. It didn't help that her face was a sickening green. Her eyes closed but only hours they had looked into my eyes, silently communicating our worries.

"Go get some ambrosia and necter from the ship! And bring coach hedge while your at it!" I barked at no one in particular, Leo and Jason went. Now kneeling next to Annabeth. I pulled her into my lap, i supported her head with my hand but something was wrong. It felt... wet? Oh gods please no I removed my hand from under her head. It was red. Hazel and piper inhaled sharply.

I sent silent prayers to every god that was capable of healing. I pulled her into an embrace, our foreheads and noses touching. "Don't do this to me wise girl, please don't leave me. You're all I have." My voice cracked, tears streaked my face as I rocked back and forth. I could sense Piper, Hazel and Frank standing around us not knowing what to do.

After what felt like hours Leo and Jason returned with coach Hedge. "Here," Jason said passing me a canteen of some nector, his face grim studying Annabeth's condition. I took it gratefully and gently made Annabeth drink it. It made me think about when I had first shown up at camp half blood. Annabeth had nursed me back to health just as I was doing now. The blood on the back of her head seemed to lessen and her face got some colour back. "Cmon wise girl, you can do this. Please let this work."

"Let me take a look at her cupcake!" Coach said, barging in between Jason and Frank. His eyes widen seeing Annabeth, "we have to get her back to camp." He picked up Annabeth from my arms and slowly trotted up to the ship. Everyone else followed, only Leo stayed.

"Lets go man! She'll be fine right? You guys have been through worse! And by the looks of it you need some healing too, yeesh!" I looked down at my shirt and sure enough, a rip right where Gaia's blade hit me. However her blade should have bounced off, having the curse of achillies and all that. Key word being should. Where normal skin should be was a deep cut, it looked infected around the sides and extremely deep too.

Leo helped me up, he then started tinkering with some metal scraps out of his toolbox as we walked to the ship. I couldn't see anyone else, probably watching coach hedge do some nature healing magic.

I thought about the cut again, I popped an ambrosia square into my mouth. Nothing. Not even a little scab. I felt my eyes drooping, every step my knees threatened to buckle.  The second I got onto the Argo everything went black. I had fainted.
