BLAZE!

One Hour Later

Jason and Kuron back at the arena lobbing different runic attacks at each other. Kuron is flying to some extent with markings all over his limbs. Jason stands punching the air blasting balls of wind at Kuron in nothing but his shorts. Both of the boys are covered in runes however Jason is fully covered from neck to waist as if he was some gang member. Foom,foom, boom! Jason continues his barrage trying to hit a quick flying Kuron with an air rune.

J: Bro you're moving too fast! I can't hit you with just air!

Kuron taps multiple of the runes on his arms at once and pushes forwards unleashing a massive gust of wind blowing everything back. Jason covers his face but the force released from the runes is far too much for him to tank so he goes flying back into the castle wall. Kuron laughs in the background at Jason's struggles.

J: Geez! Okay the wind ones seem to be the most enjoyable since they don't actually create anything and we can just fuck around with them. Do you think these would help us on our journey?
K: Oh about that. The runes seem to get weaker the farther you get from the castle for some reason. Must be to do with the Valkyries producing so much excess magic.
J: Oh damn. Well at least we can say that they could have their uses.

Jason states happily as they look to see the whole area has been blasted and dismembered with ice attacks, burn marks, and trees missing leaves. If it was a rune in the book, it was used to mess something up. Kuron gently floats to the ground and walks over to Jason. He cracks his knuckles, and relishes in his victory over Jason.

K: I kind of like the ice ones better. Either way this was way too fun. UP TOP!

Kuron raises his hand, with a rune in his palm, waiting for a hive five. Jason smiles and high fives him forgetting that he also had a rune on the palm of his hand. Swoosh! A blinding white light illuminates the arena. The light fades and in place of Jason and Kuron a whole new being stands. The boys look at their hands and feet.

??? : Whoa, since when did my hands get so big? *in Kuron's tone* Am I taller? Jason, where'd you go? *in Jason's voice* Where did you go? *both* What is happening here exactly?

Jason and Kuron ask themselves. Crunch, crunch. Blitz emerges from around the castle appearing to be looking for something.

Bz: Have you seen- WHAT!

Blitz's jaw hits the floor upon seeing the mixed being that sits where Jason and Kuron once stood. This being has a mixture of both our protagonist's faces, hair, height and thoughts. The being looks over at Blitz and waves happily.

J&K: *in Jason's tone* Oh hey Blitz you needed something? Oh by chance have you seen Kuron? I think he is playing a prank on me or something. *in Kuron's voice* What are you talking about? I'm right here?
Bz: Y-y-you guys found out how to fuse...ha...hahaha! HAHAHAHA! Great! Just great!! How am I going to tell mother about this!?

Blitz states as she slides her hands against her face aggressively while she begins to have a mental breakdown on the side.

J&K: WE FUSED!

Pop! Jason and Kuron pop out of their fusion. Kuron lays flat on his back processing what happened as Jason stands back up completely unfazed.

J: That explains where your head ass went. I did not think fusion was even remotely possible...this place really is something huh? Just bending the laws of physics as it wishes. I swear Newton would be pissed if he was here.

K: You seemed rushed Blitz. What exactly did You need?

Kuron adds sitting up and also acts completely unfazed.

Bz: Uhh Ella said she was looking for Jason or something. *palms forehead* Why? Why? Why? WHY! Did I buy these humans...they seriously were the worst purchase I could have made. UGH! You guys need to stop messing with stuff you barely understand.

K: but that's the fun of it-
J: Oh snap! Uh Kuron I'll be back in a bit I completely lost track of time! Talk to you later Blitz!

Jason runs off leaving Kuron lost with a giddy feeling within him and a pissed Blitz behind.
