Back To The Beginning

Crunch! Jason stomps down on a shrub so his buddy's can follow. The trio is back where the journey had begun. In the orcs forest, the same place where Jason was captured and almost eaten by green and mean orcs. The trees at this point seem to be blooming, meaning spring in the realms is around the corner. Ella pulls her shoulder out from some weird tree sap, bumping into Jason and sticking to him in the process. The two awkwardly pull away from one another, with the two blushing lightly. Kuron suddenly points at something excitedly off in the distance.

K: Yo! I think I found it! That has to be the camp that held us captive Jason!

Jason checks his map to see an indicator light up on the map planted directly below the town. He smiles and rolls up the map and makes his way over to Kuron.

J: The map says we're here. Okay what should we do exactly? Kuron? Ella?
K: Let's go for that "Grip" guy. He seemed to be this place's leader, so I say we should go find him and make him pay for the trouble he caused us.
J: ugh...maybe not that far but that's probably a good start. Ella, what do you think?

Ella nods in agreement and together they push through the tree line. Ella's face lights up upon seeing several stone homes scattered across the town. Each one being about the size of a small studio apartment.

E: You guys know this place?! Whoa! This place looks like a town of rocks? It's like a town straight out of a video game! But blitz said she bout you guys from like a trashy and run down town?
J: Uhh I think they might have gone through a stone age? Kuron this place wasn't all that when they caught us right? The homes were barely standing up, and now they are just neat stone buildings?
K: Not to mention the speed at which this changed...no the orcs are hollow in the head. Something or someone must have helped them. There's just no way man.

In front of the team stands a newly polished point of interest. The orc's barracks has gone through and had a massive overhaul in layout. The place with broken down little huts, made from the vegetation and sticks found from the area, are now little domes made from various connecting stones. They are placed evenly and neatly with little walkways allowing the various little homes to connect to one other. The town's "heart" being a giant messed up bonfire is now a well designed little fire pit, with stone benches surrounding the area giving it an almost human design.

E: Well this is cute. It's like a nice little place...so where are its town folk? There can't be little homes everywhere with no people to live in the homes. Right? *sweating* t-there not ghosts right?

Jason and Kuron look at each other with Jason raising his eyebrow at Ella's question. The town appears to be just that, a ghost town. Not a peep can be heard from a whole town, creating an eerie atmosphere. The trio look around with panic rising within each other as they contemplate Ella's theory. Snoooooooore!!! Kuron flinches behind Jason and rams into Ella who had a similar reaction. Jason recognizes the sound and makes a long face in response.

J: Wait, it's the ass crack of dawn. Everyone is fucking sleeping aren't they!?

Jason exclaims realizing that these orcs have some similarities with humans. Kuron begins to chuckle a bit, while Ella just shakes her head in disappointment and the two help each other back to their feet. Kuron scratches his chin aggressively.

K: If I was Grip, which one of these nice and neat houses would be mine? He was quite humble so probably the smallest-

Kuron stops noticing Jason, his head tilted with a smug look on his face, pointing to the only run down wooden home left in the town. They all nod in agreement so they make their way to the shit shack. On the edge of the new town sits a single little rundown box with part of the roof caved in. The door of the box reminds Jason of Shrek's swamp. They all stop not sure what they should do exactly, but Jason takes charge, knocking on the 'door' with a quick, Thud, thud, thud. Rustling. The trio hears something approaching the door, but they are making a mess on the way with various sounds of glass breaking and items falling. The door swings open revealing a grip covered in some sort of molasses or sludge all over his body. Crack. another item falls from a countertop behind him. The three huddle up together at the door not sure of what the giant orc will do.
