Jason opens the giant front door of the castle and peeks inside to see if anyone is around. The coast appears to be clear so Jason begins to tip toe towards the left flight of stairs. Jason then carefully goes up the stairs without making a peep. He manages to make it all the way down the hall just a few feet from his door, when he suddenly hears a familiar set of footsteps approaching so he walks faster.

E: Jason!...can we talk? Please?

Jason isn't able to make it inside his room in time as Ella demands from across the hall. Jason frantically reaches for his room's handle and twists it open slamming the door behind him. He lets off a deep sigh of relief as he holds his back against the door. He can hear Ella's muffled voice through the walls but he just can't be bothered at this point to hear her out. He looks to see Kuron just chilling on his bed scribbling in his notebook with stuff all over the floor.

K: Oh hey Jason. How was the training? By the sound of it, you had a blast.

Kuron asks, patting his side of the bed. Jason walks over and lays on Kuron's bed.

J: Training happened...I suppose. What about you, what have you been up to?

Jason looks at the blank ceiling of their room. Kuron flips the page in his notebook.

K: I have managed to figure out a lot more spells to help us out in this quest here. I'm trying to figure out how to hover off the ground or levitate freely. Who knows, it Might be helpful incase we fall off a cliff or something.

Kuron slams his notebook shut, stands and slides it under his pillow, patting it for safety.

J: At least you get cool spells and shit. I've nearly lost an arm and I light up!
K: You can say that again. So what do you have left to learn before we head out-
J: Do you think that we can really do all of this...especially with me leading us.

Jason says emotionless to Kuron. Kuron then lays parallel to Jason with their shoulders touching. A moment of silence goes by as the Kuron thinks about his answer.

K: Ay man you seem to know what you're doing. I'm just going to make sure you're not alone out there, plus I really would like to eat some spaghetti some time soon.

Kuron laughs at his own joke. Dud, dud, dud. Jason sighs heavily as he gets up to open the door. Jason creaks the door open a little bit then swipes it open.

J: What are you here for this time! What-

TQ: Why are you yelling? I haven't seen you in a bit, not that you were talking to me in that tone right!? I have been informed that you have finished training for today and since I have time at the moment I decided to stop by to give you my blessing for the long journey ahead of you. The Valkyries that are present...or that care...will say their final words in the main hall since you have time so if you please head your way there shortly.

The Queen states and walks off leaving Jason staggering. Kuron walks past Jason checking him in the process slamming Jason into the side of the door.

K: welp I'm going now. She dam near killed you for screaming...Come on man, you act as if they will bite you. I'm interested to see what this is about.

Kuron states walking with a giant smirk on his face. Jason follows and shortly after they are standing face to face with a couple of Valkyries in the main hall. The Queen stands behind Ember, Amber, Blitz, Boom and Ella. The Queen walks up to both of the boys with her arms out. She places a hand on each of their shoulders and closes her eyes. Jason and Kuron look at each other but follow suit.

TQ: Okay, as the ruler of this realm... I! The Queen of the Valkyries wish to protect these two humans to not only complete this journey but to return safe and sound. Please, mother, give these two your blessing and protection.
