Hari finds herself in a difficult position as the Founder's Ceremony approaches. She knows that attending as both herself and "Kim Sari" would be impossible, so she tries to come up with a plan to avoid the event altogether. However, Wonho has already anticipated her move. In a clever twist, he sends invitations to her entire family, ensuring that everyone in her life expects her to attend the ceremony. This puts Hari in a bind, and the stress causes her to have a dream in which she desperately tries to be two people at once, only to fail miserably.
Meanwhile, Yuna has an unexpected encounter with Woozi at a newly opened restaurant. When they are forced to sit together due to lack of space, Yuna jokingly draws an invisible line between their seats, playfully insisting that neither of them should cross it. The tension between them remains, but their interaction hints at a growing connection that neither seems ready to admit.
The night before the ceremony, Hari attends a dinner with her colleagues and ends up drinking too much. Feeling overwhelmed, she drunkenly calls Wonho and tells him she won't be able to attend the ceremony but also can't afford to pay the penalty fee. Mid-sentence, she trips and accidentally hangs up. Concerned when he can't reach her, Wonho goes out looking for her, racing to different locations until he finally finds her lying inside a tunnel slide at a park.
In her drunken state, Hari believes this is a dream. Since she thinks she's dreaming, she decides to confess everything to Wonho. She tells him that she is both Hari and Kim Sari, apologizing for deceiving him. Wonho listens quietly, torn between his feelings of betrayal and something deeper. One of Hari's co-workers eventually finds her, and Wonho slips away without saying anything further.
The next morning, Hari wakes up with a text from Wonho that shocks her: he has fired her. Instead of being upset, Hari feels an immense sense of relief. She no longer has to juggle her double life or worry about her contract with Wonho. She assumes this means he has forgiven her in his own way, but it also leaves her feeling strangely empty.
Wonho, on the other hand, is struggling. He tells himself that he's confused and that his brain has tricked him into thinking he has feelings for Hari. To distract himself, he leaves on a business trip, hoping that some distance will help clear his mind. Yet, no matter where he goes, he can't seem to escape thoughts of her. He starts seeing imaginary versions of Hari everywhere, with one even teasing him to admit that he likes her.
Back in her own world, Hari begins reflecting on her time with Wonho. Despite thinking that she would feel free after being released from her obligations to him, she finds herself missing their interactions. Just as she's mulling over these feelings, she receives an unexpected call from Chairman Kang, inviting her to dinner. Confused and unsure of what to do, Hari tries calling Wonho for advice, but he doesn't answer. She's left with no choice but to figure things out on her own.
Meanwhile, at her flat, Yuna accidentally knocks over the lamp she received from her mysterious neighbor. To her shock, she discovers that the lamp has been bugged—the bulb contains a hidden listening device. Alarmed, she gathers up the broken pieces and heads out to report it to the police, but before she can make it far, the neighbor confronts her outside. He notices the bag she's carrying, and under the guise of "fixing" the broken lamp, he takes it from her.
As Yuna tries to get away, the neighbor becomes aggressive, knocking her over and running off with the lamp. Woozi, who has just returned from his business trip, witnesses the incident and immediately chases after the neighbor. After a tense struggle, Woozi manages to pin the man to the ground, securing the lamp and the evidence inside.
At the same time, Wonho is preparing to meet his grandfather for dinner when he receives a call from Woozi, who informs him about the confrontation with Yuna's neighbor. Concerned for Yuna's safety, Wonho is distracted as Hari unexpectedly arrives for dinner. She explains that Chairman Kang had asked her to come, leaving Wonho surprised but curious. Before he can ask her any more questions, he quickly pulls her aside to explain what happened to Yuna, realizing that things are more complicated than they first appeared.
As the tension builds, the plot thickens, leaving both Wonho and Hari uncertain about their next steps.
