“Rain! Please wake up!” Phayu kept repeating while rubbing Rain’s hands to provide him heat. He didn’t dare to remove Rain’s scent patch in fear of omega’s pheromones exploding and affecting his senses too.

Phayu was surprised that he couldn’t smell anything but he was sure that Rain was in heat and unfortunately they didn’t have an inhibitor with them. Phayu was stuck, he couldn’t leave Rain here alone and go back to base to get an inhibitor nor could he take Rain along with especially in this condition and time.

He thought about calling for help but soon he realised that his communicator was missing, “Probably it fell off in a cave…” he muttered under his breath as he took off his own jacket and put it over Rain to keep him warm.

Slowly the omega’s face started to turn pink from pale white which made Phayu kind of relieved. He searched for food and water in Rain’s bag and took them out.

Suddenly Rain whimpers in discomfort, making Phayu to look at him in worry. He realised some of his pheromones to calm the omega in distress but he knew that it would work temporarily, “P…P’Phayu….”

Rain whimpered as he tried to open his eyes, “Rain!” Phayu shouted as he looks at the omega who struggled to stay away

“….I don’t feel good…” Rain whispered as he touched his neck, Phayu quickly grabbed Rain’s hand when he saw the omega trying to remove the scent patch, “…Hurts…”

Rain cried, Phayu watched him in distress and wiped his tears gently, “Please bear with it, I’m sure someone would come looking for us.. Here, drink some water…”

Phayu helps Rain to have water and let him lay down. He recalled how his parents always made sure that Saifah was hydrated and ate well during his heat cycle.

“Hug..?” Rain whispered as he looked at Phayu. The alpha’s heart melted and yet at the same time he felt so useless from inside. Phayu laid next to Rain and pulled him closer into his embrace, “It’s going to be alright… you're a strong boy, Phee's a brave boy…”

Rain calmed down a little and snuggled to Phayu due to his soothing pheromones but after a few minutes  later the pain returned which made Rain anxious.

Rain sobs in pain instead and then bites his lips till they start to bleed, Phayu smells the blood and quickly makes Rain open his mouth. His heart bleed seeing the damage, “Bite my hand instead…”

Phayu brought his hand near Rain’s mouth who didn’t hesitate at all and bit it, Phayu hissed in pain but let the omega chew his hand while he patted Rain’s hair, “It will get over soon..”

An hour passed and Rain started to twist and turn even though Phayu tried to hold him down tightly, Rain was crying badly due to pain and his body felt uncomfortable. His body was cold but Rain kept complaining that he felt like he was on fire.

Phayu was feeling helpless especially when he saw Rain crying bitterly, “Just kill me instead…”

“Stop speaking nonsense..” Phayu scolded Rain while holding his hand tightly to prevent Rain from removing the scent patch.

“P’Phayu… Alpha… please…” Rain looks at Phayu in distress and sob, “Make it stop! I can’t handle it…. Stop it..”

“….I can’t, Rain, please bear with it…” Phayu whispered to Rain, feeling emotional. He kept wiping Rain’s tears but more kept falling.

“I can’t! It’s too much…” Rain cries, his eyes were puffy, the blood on lips has stopped but tears made them appear bleeding

“You’re doing so well, little boy! Don’t give up na…” Phayu tried to encourage Rain. Phayu really admired Rain’s will, he has seen many omegas who lost their senses completely and begged to be mated during their heat.
