“Jeff?” 

Babe looks at young omega in confusion. Jeff looked nervous and scared which worried Babe as he walks towards them.

“He wanted to meet you badly, I hope you aren’t upset with me about it..” Way said in worry but Babe gave him assuring look before turning to face the omega.

“What is it, Jeff?” Babe asked in curiosity 

“Phee…” He looks between Way and Babe and hesitated, “Can we talk alone?” 

Way was about to leave but Babe stopped him and spoke, “Don’t worry about Way, if this is an secret? He won’t let others know..”

Jeff nodded understanding before taking a deep breath and spoke, “I need your help, please! You’re my last hope!” 

“What is it, Nong?’ Babe started worry.

“I’m dating PAlan…” Jeff spoke calmly while both Babe and Way were stunned, “What the hell?!” Way shouted 

“Since how long?! How you both meet?! How come none of us know about it?!” Way shouted, scaring the omega,

“Way! Calm down..” Babe told Way who became quiet 

“For more than an year, he rescued me and that’s how we met and end up dating. Um, he’s the reason I joined the department..” Jeff answered 

“Wicked PAlan! Kept this hidden so well! I’m not letting him escape now! I will tease him to death..” Way said in excitement but Jeff’s face fall on hearing Way and he continues 

“We aren’t together anymore, I broke him a a month ago..” 

“What?! Why?!” Way asked in shock while Babe looks at Jeff in curiosity 

Jeff was trembling as he recalled his fight with Alan a month ago. Ever since the fight, Jeff kept distance from Alan but now anytime Charlie might return and they may be forced to marry.

Babe was his last hope, Way was about to ask Jeff but Babe stopped him and spoke, “Why are looking for me? How can I help you?”

“Phee, please talk to Charlie. I know you both were in relationship, I don’t what happened but please get back together..” Jeff beg Babe who gave Jeff confused look

“What if have to do with Charlie and Babe?” Way asked before Babe could.

“Charlie and I matched in system match…” Jeff spoke, making Babe froze while Way looks at Jeff with open mouth.

Jeff told them everything that happened including his meeting with council members and arguments with Alan. Babe didn’t how to react while Way decided to keep quiet.

“Charlie and I knew it long ago but instead of finding the solution, he said to go along with it! I can’t! I can’t marry him!” Jeff said while crying.

After few minutes of silence, Babe whispered, “He knew….. he knew all along! What a bastard!” Babe laughs before he stood up in anger. 

His blood was boiling in anger as he realised how much Charlie has kept him in dark. Now he wonder if he lied about being kicking out of the house too.

“Babe! Calm down..” Way grabbed the alpha in worry.

‘Phee?” Jeff looks at Babe in worry. Babe fall on the couch while breathing hard. He took deep breath to calm himself before spoke.

“You came to wrong person, Jeff..”

Jeff was confused as he waited for Babe to continue. Babe covers his face as tried to calm himself. Way looks at Babe in worry and rubs his back to calm him.
