What did she say to that guy?
A few minutes ago, I was watching from above when Beatrix stepped in. There was this guy—drunk, loud, trying to force someone else to drink. Most people would’ve ignored it, let it play out, but not her.
She just walked right up to them, slipping into the moment like she belonged there. For a second, it was almost like nothing was happening—like she was just having a casual chat. But her smile… that smile was different. It wasn’t friendly. It was the kind of smile that said, I’m annoyed by you, but I’ll play along.
She kept talking, her tone light, effortless. But there was something underneath it, something sharp. She wasn’t just standing there—she was enjoying this. Like she was picking her words carefully, just to see how far she could push before pulling back.
And then—just like that—it changed.
As she turned away, her entire vibe flipped. The smile vanished, her lips pressed into a firm line. And her eyes… cold. Like they could kill without a gun.
I exhaled slowly, watching her leave.
What kind of faces can Beatrix make?
There’s the fun one, the amused one, the annoyed one—but then there’s this one. The one that makes you wonder what’s going on behind those sharp, unreadable eyes. The one that makes you think she could end your life with a single glance.
And suddenly, I find myself wanting to see all of them. Every expression she’s capable of.
"Hey, are you alone here?"
A girl stood nearby, her gaze locked onto me with a curious glint.
I glanced at her briefly before turning back to my drink. "No, I'm with my friends," I said, nodding toward my group.
She pouted slightly, tilting her head. "Oh, too bad. I thought maybe we could hang out together."
By the way she said it, I could tell she was hoping I'd offer. Honestly, I didn’t mind the idea.
She tapped my chest lightly, her fingers lingering for just a second longer than necessary.
"So, what do you think?" she asked again, her voice teasing.
I gave her a slow smile.
"Let’s head to the nearby hotel," I suggested, keeping my tone casual.
Her eyes sparkled with interest. "Alright, sounds good."
We slipped through the dimly lit streets, the cool night air buzzing with distant laughter and the hum of city life. When we finally reached the hotel, she pulled me toward the bed without hesitation.
