chapter 5

Tanisha's POV :

I was sleeping when my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was from Reva aunty. I called her at night because I forgot to ask something important but her phone was switched off. Now she's calling me back. So I received it.

Reva : good morning baccha.
Tanisha : Good morning aunty. How are you and how's everyone?
Reva: everyone's fine including me.
Tanisha : ok good then. Aunty... Can I continue my study after marriage?
Reva: yes beta why not. You are our daughter. In our house we give our daughters every right. So in that sense you also have the right.
Tanisha: thank you so much.
Reva: beta can you come to our house today at breakfast? We'll send the car.
Tanisha: um... You don't have to send car, I'll take a cab. But i-i ju-just..
Reva: what happened beta... Why are you stuttering?
Tanisha: I'm just nervous because I've to meet new people there...
Reva: there's no new people bacche. except one person who's your soon-to-be husband.
Tanisha: um... Okay aunty bye. I've to get ready....
Reva: ha ha ha... You don't have to get shy beta, he's your husband only.
Bye......

Call ended

I hurriedly went to the washroom to get ready. I did my morning business, took a shower and got ready in a cute dress.

I left my hair open because it's still damp.

Sometimes later I heard the horn of the car. I told aunty not to send it but she didn't listen me.

Soon I found myself In front of a big mansion. It's beauty is screaming only royalty.

A lady in her mid fifty was waiting for me at the gate probably. She led me into the big mansion.

Soon enough I found myself standing in a big drawing room. It has the most beautiful chandelier. Everything has a royal touch in it.

I was so lost in the beauty that I didn't notice everyone was present there and staring at me with some different kind of emotions which I can't figure out.

One by one I greeted everyone and then we settled down on our respective place in the dining table.

We were eating in comfortable silence. But soon It was broken by a growl or more precisely a tiger's growl. I followed the source. And my eyes widen.

At the staircase there's standing a black panther, all ferocious.

I can't process anything. Because the next moment I'm running for my life. The beast is right behind me, if I stop for a second then I'm sure today I'll be in his stomach. Everyone is shouting, telling me to stop but I didn't.

I was going to black out, out of the fear. But I saw someone standing at the doorstep, that someone is none other than my would be husband, Avyansh. Without thinking much I jumped on him, he also caught me.

And I started requesting him—“ please save me, please. I don't want to die this early. I didn't even complete my studies. Please save me from that beast, please. I'll give you chocolate if you save me. Please saveeee meeee.”

The next moment I heard him. “ leo, stop right there. She's not any outsider. ”— Ansh Said in an authoritive voice.

And the tiger stopped. I peeked my head out of Ansh's chest and saw that he's sitting right in front of Ansh.

“ he's not going to trouble you anymore. He's just checking whether you are a good person or bad.”— Ansh Said.

I quickly parted away from him but didn't leave his side. I was still afraid of that creature. Maybe Ansh noticed it and said—“ leo go back to your room. You are scaring her.”

Then leo left from there and I felt relieved. Soon everyone came forward and calmed me down.

“ he's Avy's pet black panther, leo. He does this to for safety. Don't get afraid okayy baccha. ”— Avinash chachu said. And I nodded still can't process what just happened few minutes ago.

I calmed down after talking with Everyone. Except Ansh, who's sitting quietly using his phone.

But the calmness didn't lasted for long because leo came back again but this time with tears in his eyes. My heart clenched after seeing his condition. Because of me Ansh scolded him. And now he's crying.....

Ansh was quick enough to notice him. He hurriedly went towards him and bend down to his level, hugged him said something which made him happy again.

I saw everyone is also smiling after seeing them.

But I can't shrug off the feeling, as I was the one for whom leo got scolded . I felt a Knot forming in my throat, tears were threatening to come out of my eyes.

I couldn't control anymore and let them fall. Now everyone got worried after seeing me crying for no reason. But I told them why I'm crying. Before they could say something, Ansh cut them off and said—" Tanisha, come here.” in a soft tone.

I obliged him went towards Ansh where leo was also standing right beside him .

I went to them and Ansh bend down to Leo's height and told him to handshake with me.

Ansh hold my hand and guided me towards leo. I looked at Ansh and he assured me.

I bend down to Leo's height and held out my right hand for him. He immediately put his right paw on my palm and growled softly.

I smiled at him and the next moment leo was on me, nuzzling his face with mine. I laughed at his antics and others smiled. But Ansh was looking at us with amusement in his eyes.

After befriending with leo, we settled down on the couch. This time Ansh was not using any phone. He's looking all serious.

Then Dada sa said something which shocked me...........
