They went walking beneath the moonlight
and the dark blue sky hung high above them
The night was still
in the midnight hour
quiet
as they were reaching
a cement ledge
where water gleamed below
where moonlight shone upon it
and the brothers hid in shadow
wearing dark cloth at the heighth
One doesn't know what to do
his complexion is wavering
his voice pleading for a savior
The other doesn't think he has to know what to do
nor does he think he should want to
There they sat on the edge
and one brother wondered what it would feel like to drop
Life is a burden to bare
Life isn't always like understandable
The other looked to the sky
and it hurts too much
he looked to the water
There may not be truth
but we should still search for ours
