You knock on the door, holding your breath as you wait for the person inside to open it. You felt nervous, unsure of whether you were doing the right thing.

Alisa opens the door, looking at you with a smile. "Oh, Y/n-chi! Did you need something?"

"Can I come in and talk for a bit?"

She opens the door wider, making room for you to enter. "Come on in. This is kind of a surprise." She closes the door once you're fully inside the room. "You usually don't come over to talk. Is something bothering you?"

You hesitate, sitting at the chair at her vanity and looking at yourself in the mirror. "Well, something came up recently and I don't know anything about it. You're older, so I was thinking you might know what's going on."

Your sister takes a seat on her bed, eyes focused on you. "Ok. What's been going on?"

"Well, lately when I talk to this one person, my face gets hot. And my heart beats differently. I even became speechless after they spoke to me."

Alisa grinned, knowing what your "problem" is. "I see. Wanna know what I think?"

You slowly turn to face her. "What?"

"In my years of being around people, and having all kinds of relationships, I say that you're developing feelings for someone. Not just any feelings, though. You're romantically interested in them. Is it a boy or a girl? Am I having a brother in law or a sister in law?" She gets excited, wanting to know all about your love life.

You look back at the mirror, feeling your face heating up as you think about the boy that you now know has stolen your heart. "He's a boy."

She squeals. "Tell me about him!"

You fidget with your fingers. "Ah, well, he's another third year and we're in the same class. I met him recently, and we've had some very - well, our conversations get personal and uh..."

"Intimate?"

You nod, thinking that might be the best word to use to describe it. "I guess you could say that. Then I look into his eyes, and it's just... he's really sweet and gentle and caring." You shut up, unsure how to voice everything about the boy.

Alisa grinned. "You really like him. How long have you known him and been talking with him?"

"Oh, since earlier this week. Around the time Lev introduced me to the team."

It didn't take a genius to try adding two and two. "Is he a member of the volleyball club?"

You look down, unable to look at her. "If I say he is, can you keep this a secret from Lev?"

"Of course! This is my baby sister's first love! There's no way I'd risk ruining it by bringing this detail up to Levochka! But, you should probably tell him at some point that you like one of his teammates. He'll find out eventually."

You sigh, closing your eyes. "You're probably right. I just don't know how to break it to him."

"If you're honest, I think he'll understand." Alisa stands, walking up to you and hugging you from behind. "Just sit him down and tell him how things are. He can't exactly fight you or forbid you from dating someone you love."

You turn to look at her, a pout on your face. "I don't love Morisuke."

She boops you. "Yet. There's always a chance it becomes love in the future."

"Fine, but right now it's just a crush." You stand, moving away from the vanity.

Your sister looks almost surprised that you moved. "You're not telling Levochka right now, are you?"

You shake your head. "He won't be able to handle this right now, especially not since it just started happening. I'll tell him when it gets more serious. Then he can't try complaining about it, or attempt to change my mind."

The older girl hums, bringing her thumb and index finger under her chin. "Yeah, I can see him freaking out and trying to convince you to like anyone that's not in the club."

You cross your arms over your chest, leaning against the wall. "I have a feeling he already tried telling his teammates to not try dating me or something along those lines. For a younger brother, he sure is overprotective."

Alisa nods, heading back to her bed. "Levochka just loves you more than anything else. He wants the best for you, even if he doesn't know what's really best for you."

You get off the wall, heading to the door. You pause with your hand on the door handle. "I can talk to him when the time comes. He'll have to learn that I can make my own decisions, whether he likes it or not. Thanks for the talk, Alisa. I'll get started on dinner soon." You open the door, walking out and closing it behind you. You look down the hall, eyes stopping at your brother's door. "He'll have to get over it once I tell him."

You sigh, walking the other way to head down the stairs so you can start with the preparations for dinner. You walk to the kitchen, grabbing out everything you'd need to make salmon and fried rice. You start setting everything up, putting the cooking oil in the pan and wok to start heating up for the fish and rice.

Once you set everything on the stove, the fish starting to cook, the doorbell goes off.

You run to the door, opening it. Your eyes widen when you see the uninvited guest. "What are you doing here?"

Yaku smiles awkwardly. "Ah, Lev asked the group chat for help with his homework, saying he couldn't bother you. Uh, is it a bad time?"

You shake your head, moving aside to let him in. "I was just starting to cook dinner. I guess I'll just make a little bit more food since you're here."

He walks inside, taking his shoes off. "You don't have to. I wasn't planning to stay long. Just help Lev get the concepts and leave." He chuckles quietly, eyes flicking rapidly around the room you two are in.

You close the door, feeling your face heat and heart beat quicken as you continue staring at the door. You take a deep breath, turning around and smiling at the boy. "Stay for dinner. I insist."
