You start plating the food that had just finished cooking. You set the table, putting the food in four spots at the table. You walk to the living room, standing right behind the couch. "Dinner's ready."

Everyone jumps at the sudden sound of your voice. They whip around, facing you with large eyes.

"Sis! You scared me!" Lev whined, putting his hand over his heart.

You blink, looking down at everyone sitting on the couch. "Sorry. I didn't know how focused you were with this."

Yaku stretched, a yawn slipping past his lips. "It's fine. It was just Lev whining every few seconds about not understanding the concepts. A break sounds pretty good right about now." He stands up, looking at you. "Uh, where do you guys normally eat?"

You smile, slowly turning towards the dining room. "I'll show you to the table. Lev, Alisa, just leave your things here while we eat."

Lev happily got up, nearly sprinting to the dining room. "Food!"

Alisa chuckled, following behind you and Yaku. "He was complaining that he was starving a few minutes before you came out."

You hum. "I see."

The libero smiles. "He's pretty hard to tutor. How do you manage to do it everyday?"

"You just need a lot of patience. As long as you're determined to help, things will run smoothly." You sit down at the table, sitting across from Lev.

Alisa sits next to your brother. "Levochka, you couldn't wait for us before starting to eat?"

He shakes his head, hurrying to swallow the food in his mouth. "I was way too hungry to wait another second!"

Yaku sits next to you, frowning at his teammate. "You need to put more effort into studying and volleyball, Lev! You won't get very far with your current level of intelligence and skill."

The silver haired boy shrugs. "I can just become a model or something like Y/n and Alisa. Something that doesn't require too much from me."

You frown. "Lev. Being a model is harder than you think. There's a lot that goes into modeling."

Your sister nods. "Yep. Scheduling is stressful and there's a lot of things you have to do for your body. Models have to maintain a certain look. We can't put too much muscle on, our fat can't exceed a certain level, and we need to be careful about our sun exposure. We have to take good care of ourselves. That's why Y/n-chi cooks all the time. She's making sure we get everything we need without making the food unhealthy."

The libero looks at you with stars in his eyes. "That's amazing. You take such good care of yourself and your siblings, huh, Y/n?"

You nod. "Don't you do the same thing for your brothers?"

"Most of the time. But sometimes I'm unable to give proper meals and we eat out from time to time. I'm pretty busy with volleyball and my own schoolwork, so I'm not perfect when it comes to taking care of Ryo and Hiro."

You look at him, a sincere look on your face. "But you try your best. That's the most important part."

Lev looks between you and his senpai. "You have brothers, Yaku-san?"

Yaku slowly turns to look at his teammate. "Uh, yeah. Two younger brothers."

"I didn't know that about you, Yaku-san."

"I don't exactly talk about my personal life."

Alisa lifted her glass to her lips. "But you talked about it with Y/n-chi." She watches with her peripheral vision as he turns pink while she takes a sip of her drink.

Yaku looks at his plate, flustered. "Well, it just came up in a conversation one day. It - it's not a big deal or anything." He starts eating, not wanting to risk exposing himself any further.

Lev hums, taking a big bite of the salmon. "Hey, sis, why'd you make fish today? I would've liked meat. Yaku-san also likes meat, right?"

The libero nods, not daring to open his mouth.

"As I recall, Kuroo-san mentions eating fish regularly. It's a brain food, so it's good for you. You should be thrilled to eat some, especially since you've been studying." You lift some fish to your lips, savoring the taste.

Your brother pouts. "But I want more meat!"

Yaku sends him a glare. "Lev, don't complain about what your sister worked so hard to make! Just be grateful you get fed!"

Alisa grins. "Thank you for being on Y/n-chi's side. I bet she likes that, right, Y/n-chi?"

You close your eyes, wishing this had been a peaceful dinner. "Alisa, enough with that before I tell you to fend for yourself. I'm generous, but even I have my limits with what I'll put up with."

She flinches. "I'm sorry. I'll starve without you."

The libero looks at you, stars in his eyes. He never knew you could be like that, but he didn't hate it. In fact, it made him like you more. He continued eating, keeping an eye on you just in case there was anything that could be said between you two, even with the fact that both of your siblings were right there.

Lev hums, his food completely gone. "Yaku-san, why has Kuroo been calling you 'lover boy' lately? What does that even mean?"

Yaku freezes, turning almost robotically to face the younger male. "Kuroo is just being annoying."

Alisa chimes in. "Lover boy is what you call a boy that's focused on wooing a girl he likes. Like, when he spends his free time with the girl he wants to make his girlfriend."

You stare at what remains of your food, wondering how the conversation came to this. And, more importantly what girl did he interact with to get called lover boy by Kuroo?

Lev tips his head to one side. "So, who's the girl?"

"None of your business!" Yaku huffs out a breath, lips curved into a frown. "I don't have to say a word about this to you!"

You take a peek at him from the corner of your eye. "Is there someone you like?"

He becomes rigid, scared to even think of an answer for you. "Why do you ask?"

You sip at your drink. "Curiosity."

The libero sighs. "There might be someone I like." He looks at you, face flushing.

Alisa connected the dots, covering her mouth and letting out a silent gasp. 'This works out perfectly!'

Lev stares at the older boy. "Who is it?"

"You don't need to know!"
