After another hour or so of helping with tutoring, Yaku was getting ready to head home. He didn't have to worry about his brothers, since his parents were home tonight. He was thankful for that. If his parents were busy with work, the libero would've just stayed at home or he would've had to bring his brothers with him.

You watch him as he gathers his things, starting to put his shoes on by the front door. "Are you going to be ok going home by yourself, Morisuke?"

Yaku looks into your eyes, standing straight. "I'll be fine. You really don't need to worry about me. Just get a good night's sleep and I'll see you at morning practice tomorrow."

You hum, leaning against the wall. "Next time, you could bring your brothers with you. I wouldn't mind meeting them and cooking dinner for them. Or, Lev and I could go to your house."

"I'd prefer is Lev didn't come to my house. And, as much as I'd love for you to meet my brothers, I don't know if that's a good idea." He rubs the nape of his neck awkwardly. He didn't want to say no to you, but he was also nervous to have you meet anyone in his family. They could be a bit much, especially if a girl is involved with the eldest of the Yaku family.

You don't take your eyes off of the boy in front of you. "Then I'll come to your house alone with you. I'd really like to meet your family."

Yaku blushes, eyes falling to the floor. "You really don't have to."

You take a few steps, setting your hand on his shoulder. "Morisuke. I want to go to your house and meet your family. When can I go to your house?"

He slowly looks up, meeting your gaze. "How about next Sunday?"

You smile. "I'll walk with you after practice then."

Lev appears in the hallway. "Oh, you're still here, Yaku-san? I thought you would've left by now."

You turn to him, removing your hand from Yaku's shoulder. "I was talking to him for a bit. He's leaving now."

"Ok. See you tomorrow morning, Yaku-san." He walks away, heading towards his room.

You turn back to the boy in front of the door. "Get home safe, Morisuke. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."

The libero leans in, kissing your cheek. "Get plenty of rest, Y/n." He quickly turns around and leave the house, closing the door behind him. He blushes, completely embarrassed that his body moved on its own like that.

You remain where you stand, staring at the front door. Your face was hot, your heart racing. You close your eyes, taking a deep breath. A smile stretches across your lips.

Alisa hums as she walks towards the door, seeing you still standing there. "Is everything alright, Y/n-chi?"

You slowly turn to face her. "Morisuke just kissed my cheek before leaving."

"I think he likes you. Maybe you should start thinking about confessing."

"But it's not that serious."

Your sister frowns, crossing her arms over her chest. "It is serious if a little gesture has you smiling as if you just got married. Listen to me, you might not think it's time for it, but you're falling in love. This isn't just a little crush. Your feelings are only going to get stronger over time. Trust me."

You raise a brow at her. "Is this spoken from experience?"

She looks away. "Well, not from personal experience. But I know what I'm talking about!"

You roll your eyes, walking past her. "You should think about taking a break from romance novels and movies. Find some other source of entertainment." You head up the stairs, hiding inside your room.

You go over to your bed and lay on your back. You close your eyes, seeing Yaku standing before you and leaning in to leave a kiss on your cheek. You let out a sigh of content. You probably haven't been this happy over something small in a long time. And yet, this one little thing made you feel like you were floating on a cloud.

"If he kisses me again, should I kiss him back?" Of course you would. This is the first time (and maybe the only time in you life) that you've started falling in love with someone.

Sure, Yaku is your brother's teammate and senpai. But that doesn't mean you can't get closer to him and build a relationship, does it?

A knock sounds on your door, causing you to sit up. "Come in."

Lev opens the door, peeking inside your room. "Are you close with Yaku-san, sis?"

You tilt your head to one side. "Why do you ask?"

"Well, you two seem close. And he smiles a lot around you. I've noticed that whenever you're around, he act much nicer than usual. So, I was wondering if that means you two are close."

You hum, laying on your side to look at him. "Well, I guess we're close. We do act like friends, even if we haven't known each other for a long time. So I'd say we are pretty close. Why? Is something bothering you about that?"

He looks at the ground. "Not exactly. I guess I just worry about him liking you a lot. I mean, he's probably the meanest of the guys on the team. It would be pretty weird if you two ever got into a relationship, or something. I don't know how I'd feel about that."

You take in a deep breath. "You don't have anything to worry about, Levochka. Just focus on school and volleyball. Ok?"

"Ok. Well, goodnight, sis."

"Goodnight."

The door closes once he's out of the room. You relax a little, leaning more into your bed. Of course you were worried about Lev's feelings and what he thought about this situation. You didn't really think he'd have much of a problem, but you were starting to worry that you had been wrong to assume that your brother would learn to be ok with anything as long as you felt strongly about it.

You sigh, rolling onto your back and closing your eyes. "I worry for the day I decide to tell Lev about my feelings."
