TW! GORE!!

Anastasia's POV

"What do you mean!?"
I exclaimed, staring at [Redacted] in shock.
"She didn't die!"

[Redacted] rolled their eyes, obviously annoyed.
"If you'd let me finish the story..."

They said with a scowl on their face. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms.

"I don't want you to tell the story! It's not even yours to tell anyway!"
I hissed, shooting a glare that was quickly returned.
"That's too damn bad! Especially since I m—"

They cut themselves off, pursing their lips. I just stared at them, curious as to what they were going to say. They obviously picked up on it because they spoke up. Clearly not to actually answer my burning question.

"No, my love."

I just sighed, standing up.

"Go ahead, finish the damn story then. It's not like I give a fuck."

Venom laced my tone as [Redacted] frowned.

"Really? In front of the people?" They muttered.

I walked towards the door. "Fuck 'the people'." I spoke before muttering something else.

Stepping outside, I slammed the door behind me, pausing for a moment in front of the door. God fucking dammit... I was thinking about going back in and apologizing, but I decided against it.

??? POV

I just sighed. "Whatever... Love you?.. I guess..."

My gaze trailed from the door to the book in my lap. I glanced up at you.

"Ah, shit... Sorry 'bout that. I'm not too sure what's wrong with her.." I gave a sheepish smile, chuckling nervously. Well— not nervously, just not pleased you had to see that.

"Uhm— Where were we?.. Right. The dinosaur thought he'd won the battle, but he hadn't known he was messing with unstable forces."

Melody's POV

My eyes widened, though they were glowing. I didn't feel entirely conscious either. Like I was there, but just as a spectator of my own body. I definitely wasn't in control. My body was as if it was moving by itself.

Even then, I was still in the creatures mouth. I started levitating slightly, just barely hovering above the creatures tongue. My hair was flowing, my right leg slightly crossed over the other, which was straight. Large, glowing spheres formed in the palms of my hands, healing the gaping holes in them from before. After that, they disappeared and the creatures mouth slowly started opening, as if being pried open.

The monster growled again, trying to fight against whatever force was prying its mouth open. I watched as the light of day seeped into the dark space. Once his jaw was open wide enough I floated out of its mouth, and onto the ground infront of it. My eyes stopped glowing and I immediately fell to my knees. I looked over my shoulder, back at the creature that previously tried to eat me.

But I noticed something... It's jaw... It hadn't stopped opening... Why hadn't it stopped opening?

❗️❗️Facing the creature fully, I took a few paces back, intently watching the creature. Eventually, I could hear a quiet crackly sound. Immediately after, the monster start roaring in what I could only assume was pain. I wince, slapping my hands over my ears. I whined quietly, my eyes widened as its jaws continued opening.

The creatures jaw was close to snapping like a cracker at this point. Or that's only what I could've assumed from the sudden screeching instead of roaring. I knew it was my being doing this. Yes, I knew that part very well. And despite it trying to eat me, I didn't want to kill it.

"Uh... Stop?..." I muttered quietly, though its jaws kept separating. It definitely came out as more of a question.

"S-Stop!" I called out in a more demanding tone. The creatures roaring was driving me crazy! Like an endless repeat of nails being ruthlessly scraped across a chalkboard. I scoffed quietly, squeezing my eyes shut as I yelled. "Ugh... Cut it out!"

And just as fast as it got loud, was just as fast as it went silent. A loud squelch, and then a liquid splattered all over me. It was warm... Like warm water.. Just a little thicker. I opened my eyes, immediately noticing the carcass in front of me. Blood was everywhere, but I was yet to realize that's what it was.

"What's this?... It's... warm, and wet..." I muttered, wiping some of the liquid from my cheek and observing it on my fingers. My eyes narrowed. "Wait... Is that... blood?"

My eyes widened, my breath catching in my throat. I hated blood! I hated it! I gasped for air, yelling for help as if there was someone there to do so.

"AHHH! ITS MY BLOOD!!"

I screamed so loud it felt as if I could tear a hole through my vocal cords.

"HELP ME!" I clutched my head, falling to my knees. Tears pricked the corner of my eyes. Nothing could've expected something as simple as blood would've sent me to a mental break. It was a shame, really.❗️❗️
